Actor couple Jeevitha and Rajasekhar who are known to be anti Chiranjeevi and pro Y S Rajasekhar Reddy camp have announced on Friday that they are quitting Y S R Congress. Jeevitha and Rajasekhar had quit Congress party soon after Chiranjeevi announced the merger of PRP in Congress. They had then declared their support to Y S Jagan. But Rajasekhar alleged that Jagan had humiliated them both recently and hence they decided to stay away from him. They also claimed that they too have doubts on Jagan Mohan Reddy's corruption and blackmoney which is why they want to stay away from him.

"Recently when Y S Jagan held Jaladeeksha at Vijayawada, we both went there. After that when there was deeksha at New Delhi, Jagan asked both of us not to come. We didn't understand why he said that. After a few days he told me that people got diverted at Vijayawada deeksha looking at me in Jeans trousers and hence asked me to stay away from politics. I found it silly. We also feel that he is corrupt politician and decided to stay away from him. As of now we are not joining any political party. We had earlier only told that Chiranjeevi can't run a party. Our prediction came true" Rajasekhar said at a media conference he held in Friday.

Tamil movie superstar Rajnikanth was admitted in the intensive care unit (ICU) of St. Isabel Hospital here Friday after a bout of vomiting in the morning, doctors said.According to hospital officials, Rajnikanth has been admitted in the ICU for discomfort. Speaking to reporters, the actor's wife Lata Rajnikanth said the superstar is safe and there is nothing to worry.

She said the actor ate something in the morning and started throwing up. "The doctors are attending to him and he is in safe hands," she said.In the morning, Rajnikanth was shooting for the movie "Rana" here. He is doing a triple role in the film. Directed by K.S. Ravikumar, "Rana" is being produced by Rajnikanth's daughter Soundarya's Ochre Studios in association with Eros International.

Vijayendra Prasad, the writer-turned director and father of SS Rajamouli, is making debut as director through ‘Rajanna’ to be produced by Nagarjuna himself on the banner of Annapurna Studios, besides playing the hero. Sneha is playing the female lead opposite Nagarjuna in this film and the shooting of the film was getting delayed due to the strike by the Tollywood workers. The movie will be shot in and around Hyderabad, while major part will be shot in Ramoji Film City.

The story is about incidents that happen between three friends in a span of 9 months, which moves in the backdrop of Hyderabad. On the whole the emotion of horror got to Ramu and hence he thought that ‘Not a Love Story’ will suit the mood of the film.

The film is based on 2008 case of Kannada actress Maria Susairaj, who along with her naval officer lover murdered her former lover Neeraj Grover, cut his body into pieces and dumped it into a suitcase. Victim Neeraj Grover will be played by Ajay Gehl. The film is simultaneously being made in Telugu and Varma has earlier announced Oka Prema Katha as its title. Now, we need to see which new title he opts for changing Oka Prema Katha.

Finally the construction of the huge sets which are being erected at AVM Studios got completed. Now the shooting of Rana is all set take place in these sets and director K S Ravi Kumar is going to shoot a duet on the lead pair Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone.Reliable sources say that Rana is going to be launched on May 1st and a duet song is going to be canned in the set erected at Royal Hall.The muhurat is almost confirmed on May 1st which is followed by a regular shoot It is known that except the cast and crew of unit none of them were allowed at location of the shoot and the team members of Rana got issued Access Card to enter the shooting location on the VIII floor of the Studios.

Probably for the first time in the history of Indian cinema, the Access cards are being issued to the cast and crew for the shooting.Off course whatever Rajini does it always represents his own style! Ileana has been confirmed as a heroine for one of the role played by Rajini while Tabu is going to play opposite elder Rana.Sonu Sood plays the baddie in the film is going clash with Rajini.A R Rahman scored the music for the period-type extravaganza and he already completed few songs.

The forthcoming film of Maheshbabu ‘Dookudu’ with Samanta playing the female lead is all set to leave for Switzerland on May 10.Presently the shooting is in progress at Padmalaya Studios after a brief lull due to the strike in the Tollywood.A song would be choreographed and a little talkie part would be shot there.It may be recalled here that the film was earlier shot in Turkey, Gujarat and Hyderabad.Besides Samanta, Sonia of ‘Happy Days' and 'Vinayakudu’ fame is playing a key role in this flick.Directed by Srinu Vaitla, the film was produced by Anil Sunkara, Gopinath Achanta and Ram Achanta on the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Thaman is scoring music for the flick. As per the inside sources, Maheshbabu is playing the role of a police informer in this movie.

Manchu Manoj is playing hero in a film to be directed by Anil Krishna produced by Dammulapati Srinivasa Rao on the banner of Sri Sailendra Cinemas.The formal launch of the film was held some time ago and Shriya was selected as heroine opposite Manoj.However, the heroine walked out of the project as the negotiations on remuneration were failed and later Kriti Kharbanda was roped in as the heroine.Recently, the producer had registered a titled called ‘Mr Nokia’ at the Film Chamber.It is learnt that the director is planning to make the film as an out and out entertainer and Manoj is playing a character which would always be jovial and fun-maker.
