'Laila' ruins 'Nagavalli' - JustTollywood.com News
Natural disasters destroying sets is not something we usually hear. But the recent cyclone ‘Laila’ has washed the sets of Venkatesh’s new movie and sequel to Chandramukhi, ‘Nagavalli’ away!News from the flm’s unit is that the set erected at Vijayanagaram district has been destroyed completely forcing shooting to stop. A grand set was built but has faced a wholesome damage to producer Bellamkonda Suresh. A new set is being erected now and the shooting will commence after a couple of days.
Director P Vasu is meanwhile shooting other scenes at outdoor location to save time, sources inform. Reports of such incidents have happened in the past with P.Vasu’s script. Actress Soundarya, after completing her part for ‘Aptha Mithra’ , the original version of Chandramukhi in Kannada, died in a helicopter crash. When the sequel ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ was made Kannada hero Vishnuvardhan passed away. Though hero Venkatesh didn’t find it as a reason to connect the tragic stories to the movie, most observers feel a jinx is attached to the script!
So rumour mills find another reason nothing really creditable. Well it is for people to believe or not to believe! ‘Laila’ also ruined a lot of crops suggesting that it has nothing to do with movies!

Fighters association demands more from Rakta Charitra makers - JustTollywood.com News
For bilingual double and for trilingual triple that’s the news set of norms set by Bollywood's fighters' associations. Now producers have to pay more for fights and fighters participating in a bi-lingual and if it's a 3-language film then the producer has to pay three times more levy than a one-language film. The makers of ‘Rakta Charitra’ which is being made simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu are facing this problem as they are asked to deposit three times more levy than usual.
Producer Sheetal Talwar says, “It's true we were asked to pay up three times the normal levy for the fights in Rakta Charitra. The argument given was that Mani Ratnam's Raavan which is in two languages (Tamil and Hindi) had to pay twice the levy. But we argued back that in Raavan all the fights in the two languages were different since the Tamil and Hindi versions of the film star difference actors. In Rakta Charitra we have exactly the same cast in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and the fights have not been shot twice over. Only the close-ups in the two versions are different."
The argument was not of much help and the association brought down the levy to twice rather than thrice the normal amount. However, the producers of ‘Rakta Charitra’ are still not willing to pay up the amount demanded, as this would entail an extra burden of Rs 50-60 lakhs on their budget. Tough to say who will win the ‘fight’…
