Rajanna to hit screens on Sept 30 - JustTollywood.com News



Nagarjuna himself is producing the prestigious film 'Rajanna' on the banner of Annapurna Studios. The film is being directed by Vijayendra Prasad for the first time and the songs, action scenes and climax were shot under the directorial supervision of SS Rajamouli. MM Keeravani scored music for the film and the audio would be an asset for the movie. When asked why yourself have come forward to produce the film, Nagarjuna says, 'I was inspired with the character of Rajanna. It is the story of a freedom fighter. It is a realistic subject which was prepared with four real life incidents. I am very much satisfied with the character of Rajanna. Vijayendra Prasad dealt with the character in a nice manner. Especially, an eight-year-old baby's character would be very important and Baby Yeni lived in the character. Her role had lots of prominence in Rajanna story.

We created huge sets that reminds the villages during the freedom struggle and art director created an atmosphere of the then times. The shooting of the film is almost complete and I am excited for the release of the film. Undoubtedly, the film would have a universal appeal, because of its patriotic feel.' It is learnt that the producers are making efforts to release the film on September 30 across the country and overseas on a grand scale. The first look poster of Rajanna was released on the occasion of Nagarjuna's birthday on August 29. Plans are afoot to release the audio in the second week of September in a different and novel way.

RGV's film with Chaitu is 'Bejawada'? - JustTollywood.com News



Some time ago on December 11, 2010, we have reported that Ram Gopal Varma had clarified that he might not use 'Bezawada Rowdilu' as the title for the film hinting at the protest all over the region.As per the latest information, the maverick director reportedly decided to retain 'Bezawada' as the title of the film. As per the indications, the first look of the movie would be released to the media on Nagarjuna's birthday. The shooting of the film is almost complete and the producers are making efforts to release the film in October. Vivek Krishna, a protege of RGV is the director of the film, while Ram Gopal Varma and Kiran Kumar Koneru are jointly producing the film with Naga Chaitanya and Amala Paul in the lead.

Madhu Shalini goes Bollywood - JustTollywood.com News



Remember Madhu Shalini who was recently seen in King? The belle is all set to foray into Bollywood, that too with a big-ticket film like Department. The Hyderabad ammayi may have failed to make a footprint in Tollywood, but she might well get the chance of her career with Department. Ram Gopal Varma has signed Madhu Shalini for a role in Department. She is expectedly on a cloud nine. "The film is set against cop-underworld nexus. It will be more like a sequel to RGV's earlier films like Satya and Company. It's pretty much unconventional; it is not about a hero, a heroine and a villain but does away with the formulas".

Madhu Shalini plays a gangster in this multi-starrer and shares screen space with stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Rana Daggubatti in 'Department'.She talks about her role, saying, "My character is that of a daring gangster, who never gives up. She can be extreme at times, depending on how people treat her and can get dangerous if people get her one her way."The film will go to the floors in the first week of September will see an early 2012 release. "I am excited about the film and the role I play as I haven't done such films before nor have seen such a character on-screen", she signs off
