The much awaited movie ‘Josh’ starring Naga Chaitanya and Karthika has got postponed its release rising to the shocking news of YSR missing. Nagarjuna has been following up the news of YSR and although he was asked about arrangements for Josh premiere scheduled at Prasads Multiplex, he didn’t show any interest but simply asked to postpone as per the inside news. The release date of Josh is yet to be announced.

"We shot at the Blue Lagoon where the temperature was minus one degrees, this place has a huge geothermal spa and I was thrilled when I heard that anyone who suffers from any ailment just has to take a dip in this pool. Even though I’ve travelled a lot I’ve never seen a black beach anywhere -the entire beach including the sand, water and the rocks are all black here. When I saw this I was very curious to learn more about this and this is when one of the local consultants explained to me that the colour was a result of the volcanic eruptions that take place once a decade and this is mixed with the seawater. But all said and done, this spot offered us a picturesque location for our songs."
Apparently, Nag was said to be talking about Swine Flu and the precautions to be taken as part of a public interest ad. However, this was seen only in the Sakshi TV and not in the MAA television which is said to be surprising many. MAA happens to be Nag’s channel as he has got bigger share in that. To top it all, there is no government tag attached to it though it is said that it was a public interest ad. Movie Mogul Dr D Ramanaidu is producing a film, ’Bendu Appa Rao’, under the banner of Suresh Productions with EVV Satyanarayana as director with Naresh and Kamna Jethmalani in the lead. The film had completed its shooting recently and presently dubbing activity is in progress. Producer says, “Koti gave melodious tunes to all the songs. We are planning to launch the audio during this month-end. We are also making efforts to release the film as a Vijayadasami gift. The film is coming up with a healthy comedy and we are sure that our ‘Bendu Appa Rao RMP’ would protect the health of the audiences with complete entertainment.”

Speaking at the audio launch of Azhagana Ponnuthan, he took notice of the fact that its heroine Namitha was not present and made this statement. The FEFSI President VC Guhananthan and the Producers’ Council President Rama Narayanan also expressed the same opinion. Based on the recommendation of Rama Narayanan the issue is expected to be resolved after holding discussions with the Nadigar Sangam.

Gill who has played a small role in The Legend of Bhagat Singh and some commercials, made his debut last year with Mohan Babu’s film Krishnarjuna. “When I walked in for the premiere, nobody noticed me. After the film got over, many of them walked up to me, shook hands with me and told me they appreciated my work,” says an excited Gill, who happens to be a fitness freak and owns a chain of fitness salons along with a restaurant in Pune. So, how was it working with Ram Charan? “He is a down-to-earth person with no starry with no starry tantrums. Actors like SRK, Aamir and other actors have a huge fan following in Mumbai, but the audience scarcely go gaga over their heroes the way people here do. Denying reports that she was affected by swine flu, Mamta Mohandas says she had to be admitted to a hospital to undergo a minor operation. “There was a small boil on my chest. Hence I had to go under the scalpel to remove it. There is no truth in the reports that I was affected by swine flu,” the actress, who is now doing well, says. Saying that she had to walk out of a couple of projects due to the “operation”, Mamta says she would enter Bollywood next year. “I can’t reveal much about my Hindi project. But the film will go on floors in 2010,” she says. She also says Bollywood is a perfect destination for south Indian actresses. “Hindi cinema is the right place to reach pan-Indian audience,” she says. Mamta, who stepped into Tamil film industry with Vishal starrer ‘Sivapadhikaram’, later acted opposite Madhavan in ‘Guru En Aalu’. The Mollywood girl is equally popular in Telugu and Malayalam cinema too.
