You might have read in these columns that Dil Raju had planned a prestigious film titled 'Sitamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' under the direction of Srikant Addala.Earlier, the film was planned in the combination of Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan. However, the Power Star's dates were not immediately available as he was pre-occupied with different projects like 'The Shadow' and 'Gabbar Singh'.So, the producer had approached Mahesh Babu and convinced him to replace Pawan Kalyan. At a time, when several doubts were expressed whether it was possible for a multi-starrer these days, the producer had announced that the film would be formally launched on October 6 in the same combination.

Creative director Gautham Menon, is getting ready to do a film with hero Ram. Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the film on the banner of Sri Sai Ganesh Productions with Ram and Samantha in the lead roles.This prestigious project will have music from Oscar Award winner AR Rahman, and Sravanti Ravikishore is presenting it.Sources from Film Nagar say that the project is getting ready for a formal launch on June 25, while the regular shooting would begin in July.

It was heard that the producer had decided to make the film with a lavish budget and it would be made with high technical standards. The director penned a story which is quite interesting and thrilling.Another interesting aspect is that AR Rahman, who is generally blamed for delay in giving tunes for a film, had already completed recording a couple of songs for the movie.Ram, who had no worthy hits to his credit in recent times, had kept high hopes on this movie. Actress Trisha is urging people to adopt homeless dogs in new advertisement for animal activist group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India. In the ad she appears with a rescued dog named Bambi, who was tormented by a group of school boys before being rescued by a passing motorist.The ad, shot by ace photographer G. Venkat Ram, reads, "Be an Angel: Adopt a Homeless Dog", encouraging people to adopt a dog from an animal shelter or the streets.

Trisha also revealed her own story of how she rescued her dog Cadbury, from the streets."I found him … in Hyderabad (while) I was shooting for a film. We were just driving past, and we saw this small little puppy that was wounded … and he couldn't walk, and he was lying in the rain," said Trisha.Cadbury received medical care and now is a part of her family. "He came back home with me … and he is like the son I never had," she said.
