'Golimaar' Censored - JustTollywood.com News



'A' for action and Puri Jagannadh ’s next action flick ‘Golimaar’ with dynamic hero Gopichand has finished its censor rituals and is ready for release. Expressing happiness in a press meet to announce the same, producer Bellamkonda Suresh was happy to see the movie come out smoothly. He added that the music of the movie is a big plus point and everyone seems to like the drunkard song about men. ‘Golimaar’ releases on 27th May. Be prepared for the action!

Similar views were expressed by hero Gopichand. He said the movie will be a blockbuster like Puri Jagannadh ’s previous hits. When it was the director’s turn, he humbly accepted that the movie was inspired by the real life incidents of encounter specialist Daya Nayak. He added saying Gopichand’s performance is a highlight in the movie along with Roja’s explosive performance.

Roja gave a gist of her character saying she is playing Priyamani ’s mother in ‘Golimaar’ and her role is quite challenging. Priyamani said she was a big fan of Puri Jagannath and was happy to be part of the movie

Reports circulating in Tollywood suggest that Victory Venkatesh will act in director Teja’s ‘Savithri’.Teja after facing a debacle in ‘Keka’, has made sure his next project will be a big hit. Sources say he has made ready a sure hit script and has tried to convince producer Suresh Babu for producing his movie ‘Savithri’. Reports have it that Venkatesh will be the hero.

Sources add that Venkatesh who is currently busy with P.Vasu’s ‘Nagavalli’ will work simultaneously in ‘Savithri’. Director Teja has not had a proper outing for quite some time now. He would want to break the jinx and come back to the sensational form he initially had. As for Venky, feminine titles seem to be working for him. Right from ‘Malleswari’, ‘Lakshmi’, ‘Nagavalli’ and now ‘Savithri’, Venky shows no sign of having issues which only proves his professional attitude.

Tollywood Cricket Team Logos Launched - JustTollywood.com News



The cricket fever will never go down especially in Tollywood. The team logos for the T20 cricket tournament Tollywood Trophy were unveiled in Hyderbad on Monday.


Bala Krishna unveiled the logos of each of the teams namely Chiranjeevi’s Chiru Cheetahs, Balakrishna’s Balayya Lions, Venky Warriors and Nag Kings. Murali Mohan who presided the meeting said that the teams will be announced on 27th May through lottery system. The outfits for the teams will be launched on June 6th at K.Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy stadium.


He added that as per the plan, the trophy will be held on June 13th which will have a anti-piracy run by all the teams. Two matches will be played with the four teams where the winners of either game face each other in finals that will be held in the same night at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Hyderbad.It is said that there will be two heroines as brand ambassadors for each of the teams. Balakrishna who launched the logos said this event will be telecasted live with 22 cameras. Organised by Rhythm, the tickets for VVIPs are priced at Rs.10,000 and regular tickets are priced at Rs.200. The availability of tickets will be announced soon.

'Sneha Geetham' To Release in July - JustTollywood.com News



Disturbed by the effects of cyclone ‘Laila’ in Andhra Pradesh, the producers of ‘Sneha Geetham’ have decided to postpone the release of the movie. Director Madhura Sreedhar described the movie as a clean entertainer about friendship in college life. Another possible reason for the postponement could be that July is the month of colleges reopening. Hence that would have driven the producers Larsco Entertainment, to release the movie to attract the students.

Well most part of Andhra Pradesh has been facing a bad situation because of ‘Laila’. The producers didn’t want to be in a mess at such a time. ‘Sneha Geetham’ stars new comers and as said before the movie has a college backdrop that is sure to woo the youth.

It is earlier reported to our viewers that Bala Krishna’s next film will be directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. Now, the script for the film seems to be ready. Interestingly, this is 150th directorial for Dasari. The film is now tentatively titled as “Param Veera Chakra”. This is being touted as a sequel to legendary actor, Late NTR’s ‘Bobbili Puli’ film which is directed by Dasari. The formal announcement of the film will be made on May 6th.

Now, the interesting and latest news is that the yesteryear actress Jayaprada will be a part of this film. Like her earlier character as Balakrishna’s mother-in-law in ‘Maharathi’, she will be playing a very prominent role in ‘Param Veera Chakra’. The film will be launched on June 10th coinciding Balakrishna’s birthday.

On Sunday morning, Tamil activists disputed outside Kamal Haasan’s office at Alwarpet in Chennai. They demanded Kamal to resign from the South president post of entertainment category of Federation of Indian Commerce and Industry (FICCI). They also demanded him to return the prestigious Padma Shri back to the Central Government. They said that FICCI is one of the sponsors of IFFA awards to be held in Colombo in June.

On clearing the news about this, Kamal stated “Office bearers of FICCI will not participate in IIFA awards in Colombo and nothing would be achieved by surrendering the Padma award.” On the other hand, Tamil actors and directors have decided not to attend the IIFA awards event in Colombo and even Maniratnam has decided not to screen his ‘Raavan’ at that event.

What's the reason behind Maniratnam's failure to get the title? - JustTollywood.com News



It is well known that Maniratnam’s forthcoming trilingual magnum opus ‘Raavanan’ has been titled as ‘Villain’ in Telugu. But the industry buzzes that as the Tamil version is titled as Raavanan, it was expected that the Telugu version will be named as ‘Raavanudu’. But it doesn’t happen. There was reason for Mani to name it as Villain.

As the ace director Dasari Narayana rao has been already registered with the title Raavanudu for his film and he is not willing to drop from it, Maniratnam has no other alternate and was contended with the title ‘Villain’.

The film features Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan , Prithviraj and Priyamani in the lead roles. The movie will hit the big screens in June.

Srihari's 'Bhairava' hits the floors on June 4th - JustTollywood.com News



Real star Dr Srihari’s forthcoming action film ‘Bhairava IPS’ will be launched on June 4th at Hyderabad. Natti Kumar, who produced his previous film ‘Dasanna’, will produce this film also.
