With only 3 days to go, Allu Arjun, son of Mega producer Allu Aravind, is officially got ready for marriage.He was dressed as a bridegroom at a simple function with limited guests and family members at Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s residence.He had a holy bath (Mangala Snanam), in the hands of his maternal uncle (Menamama) Chiranjeevi. Later, he wore a milky white Dhoti and Kurta and was applied vermillion.The function was very formal and as per the tradition.He was offered a green coconut and later he was blessed by elders including his father Allu Aravind, mother Nirmala, aunt Surekha and uncle Chiranjeevi, while Ram Charan Teja wished him all the best.The marriage was fixed on March 6 at Hi-Tex, Madhapur in Hyderabad.

Alleged Telangana activists on Wednesday stormed on the sets of a film being picturised at Aluru in Chevella mandal of Ranga Reddy district and disrupted the shooting.The activists also set fire to the sets after dousing it with kerosene. However, there were no reports of any injuries.The yet-to-be-titled film stars actor Allari Naresh and Poornima and is produced by Vijay Prasad. The film is directed by Nageswar Reddy.Producer Vijay Prasad said the film shooting was rescheduled following a request by Telangana leaders. The shooting was originally scheduled for February.Mr Prasad regretted that the youth who took part in Wednesday’s protest had resorted to vandalism and damaged the set. He said that the set was constructed at a cost of Rs 10 lakh.
