After Ready, it's Dhee's turn to be remade in Hindi - JustTollywood.com News
Seems that Srinu Vaitla is slowly turning out to be a lucky mascot for Bollywoodians who are desperate for commercial entertainers. Close on the heels of the successful adaptation of Ready, comes the news that Dhee will be remade in Hindi. Sanjay Dutt has acquired the remake rights of this romantic comedy. (Meanwhile, backroom dealings are said to be on for finalizing the selling of Dookudu's remake rights).
An all-out comedy flick, Dhee was a runaway hit in Telugu when it was released in 2007. In a sense, it was a trendsetter, because many scripts drew inspiration from the film. It became the norm to see the heroes making fools of the villains. Interspersed with sentiment, the harmless lies enacted by the hero for winning his love became a genre with a potential to generate moolah. If Sanjay Dutt's Dhee turns out to be a revelation, then one can be sure that we will see more and more films like Bindaas and Kandireega in Hindi. Meanwhile, keep guessing about who will reprise the roles of Vishnu and Genelia.

Post Urumi (2011), Genelia D'Souza is happy with the slow image makeover. The actress, who was seen in the Santosh Sivan magnum opus in the role of a warrior princess, feels that the film helped her break the stereotypes of her image. From Boys, Sye, Happy and Bommarillu to the recent Orange, all films reinforced Genelia's image as a sprightly girl. She was always seen as an actress who had no ability to excel in serious roles. Urumi has changed things for her.
Going by her own confessions, the actress is quite at peace with the image makeover. She is also looking forward to re-interpret the role of Hasini in the Hindi version of Bommarillu. But before that, she will be adjudged by the audience in Force, an adaptation of Gautham Menon's Kaka Kaka (Gharshana in Telugu), where she is playing Maya (originally played by Jyothika in Tamil and subsequently by Asin in Telugu).

Nithin feels he should be love stories - JustTollywood.com News
Takkari, Atadistha, Victory, Hero, Drona, Recchipo and Maaro have taught Nithin a bitter lesson. In retrospect, Nitin has learned, these films where he donned mass roles did no great good to him. As a result, he has decided that he will do films that have a love story to tell, so that he can connect with his audience base better.
The actor has confessed that he is doing Ishq, which is currently under production, for the same reason. Directed by Vikram Kumar, he shares screen space with Nithya Menon and Sindhu Tolani in this film. Slated for a release on the 4th of October, Ishq has got technicians like PC Sreeram (Cinematography) and Srikar Prasad (Editing) working on it.
Nithin seems to be have great hopes on this film to deliver him. There is no denying the fact that the 28 year old actor is charming, though he has no fan base to reckon with at the moment. But, there is no reason to believe why he cannot bounce back if backed by the right script.Ishq, it is hoped, will deliver Nithin.
