While answering the question, Ram Gopal Varma categorically said that there would not be any character by name of Paritala Ravi or Maddelacheruvu Suri in the movie.He said that due to legal problems, he did not put the original names for the characters in the movie!

"People in Andhra Pradesh can identify with the characters. People in Tamil Nadu and North India will the see as a movie and need not identify the characters".
