Popular singer Kousalya is turning a music director soon.She has been signed in as music director by director Hema Reddy for a project that will be produced by Super entertainments banner.The movie will start shooting soon.Kousalya has composed music for a few private albums before.This is the first time she will compose music for a movie.From 'Neekosam' in 1999, Kousalya sang for hundreds of films.
She mostly sang in the music direction of Chakri.She won Nandi award for her singing in several films.'Itlu Sravani Subramaniam', 'Idiot',' 'Yamagola Malli Modalaindhi', 'Neninthe' and 'Golimaar' are a few films in which she delivered chartbuster music."I have learnt Carnatic music and composed music for a few albums.This time I would be composing music for a movie.I hope I will be successful as music director too" she said.The hero, heroine of this film are yet to be known.Apart from Kousalya, other singers like Hemachandra have also turned music directors and composed music for films.
