Simha US release - 40 theatres - JustTollywood.com News



Boyapati Sreenu-directed Simha, starring Balakrishna in a powerful role, will be screened in 40 theatres, across the USA. The producers are planning to release the film in 25 centres across the country. Producer Paruchuri Kiriti says that the film will see a very big release in the US. Slated for a release in the last week of April, Simha stars Nayanatara, Sneha Ullal and Namitha.

Its overseas release is by Supreme Movies, whose head Raju has hands-on experience in overseas film business.The producer, Mr. Kiriti said, "This one is a costly film in our banner. I think this film will be a sensational hit in Balakrishna's career. We found a wonderful subject."
Varudu is another important film that will be released in a big way in the US.

After Bumper Offer and Vaade Kavali, Sairam Shankar is in the lap of a big project. In his next film, to be produced by Chanti Addala and directed by Ashok Kumar (assisted Puri in the past), he will be cast opposite Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Sri Hari.A bound script has been written by Prithvi Teja of Student No. 1 and Ninne Pelladatha fame (story-writer). The other assets of the movie will be Paruchuri Brothers's dialogue.

Sairam Shankar is sure that this film will give a boost to his career, after the initial kick given by Bumper Offer. He said that, though offers came by dozen after BO, he chose to work with Chanti.The film will be shot in places like Kanyakumari, Chidambaram, Kanchi and Hyderabad. Kota, Brahmanandam, Ali, MS, JP, Raghu Babu, Krishna Bagawan and Venu Madhav are the other cast.

Sangeetha's second innings - JustTollywood.com News



With Srimathi Kalyanam, Sangeetha is all set to begin her second innings. This one is the first film of the actress after she got married sometime back. Paired opposite Vadde Naveen, her film is releasing on April 2.Naveen and Sangeetha play husband and wife in the movie.

The film is directed by Shival and produced by Bhanu Kiran. As the title suggests, it tells the story of how a husband marries off his wife to another, forced by some realities and circumstances.The director promises that the climax scenes will be heart-touching. The film has Sudha, Chalapathi Rao, LB Sri Ram, Vijayaranga Raju, Shankar Melkote, Alekhya, Kalyani and others playing key roles.

Says Shival, "The main subject of the film focuses on the importance of husband-wife relationship in modern times and drives home the point that marriage is absolutely important. Apart from being a high drama it has a comedy track which makes whole episode entertaining and engaging."

Hasini is a film in which Kamalakar and Sandhya, of Premisthe and Annavaram fame, are playing the leads. The film is directed by BV Ramana and produced by B Kamalakar Reddy.

The film boasts of various commercial elements like love, action and comedy, according to the director. He promises that the film will taste distinctly. "Recently, two songs were filmed on the main leads in Thailand. After the post-production works, the film will be released in the second week of April.

Giri Babu, Venu Madhav, Krishna Bhagawan, Ali, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, Hema, Surekhavani are the various other casting. For Sandhya, who plays Kamalakar's pair in the film, Haasini is important because she has not delivered a hit after Premisthe. Marudhuri Raja is the dialogue-writer. Koti has composed the music. The film is executive-produced by K Praveen Chandra.

Film Chamber angry with Yagam director! - JustTollywood.com News



Navdeep, Bhumika, Kim Sharma starrer ‘Yagam’ has recently hit the silver screens. Yagam has been directed by Arun Prasad and the film chamber members are angry towards the director of the film since the film has a dialogue that is hurting the biggies who had participated against the piracy.

The movie has one dialogue delivered by Ajay saying that “The directors and producers are copying English movies and making Telugu films. So there’s nothing wrong watching a piracy movie”. Apparently, these hurted many film-makers and so are expressing their anger. Let’s see how the director reacts on this.
