Music director RP Patnaik turned an actor with 'Seenu Vasanti Lakshmi'. Later, he tries his hand as director for ‘Andamaina Manasulo’, but he could not make an impact on the audiences with his debut movie.Now, he is getting ready to show his prowess with his second film ‘Broker’ wherein he is not only directing the movie but also playing the title role.The film is being produced by Maddineni Ramesh while Real Star Srihari is playing an important character in the movie.

The latest film ‘Broker’ deals with the role of middlemen in different aspects including dealings with government and other persons. The film had a good message to the society in it.Mayuri, Keerthi Chawla, Archana, Kausha, Suresh, Gollapudi Maruthi Rao, Kasi Viswanath, Kota Srinivasa Rao and others are in the cast.Dialogues are by MVS Haranatha Rao, lyrics are by Chaitanya Prasad, while RP Patnaik himself is also scoring music for the movie.

The shooting of Balakrishna starrer ‘Parama Veera Chakra’, the prestigious 150th film of Dasari Narayana Rao and produced by C Kalyan on the banner of Teja Cinema was complete and presently post-production formalities are in brisk progress.The producer is planning to release the film on January 12 as a Sankranthi gift.

As a prelude, the film unit is planning to launch the audio on December 21.Balakrishna is playing dual roles as an Army officer and as a film hero in this movie and he is going to romance with Amisha Patel, Neha Dhupia besides Sheela.Manisharma reportedly scored fantastic tunes for the movie.

Actor Sharwanand who did two films this year 'Prasthanam' and 'Andari Banduvaya' in Telugu, both of which won accolades from critics for his performance has hit the jackpot.Sources confirm that he has signed a movie with ace director Murugadoss for a Tamil film. Murugadoss directed movies like Ghajini, Stalin and was writer for blockbuster film 'Tagore'.

Filmnagar sources tell us that Murugadoss liked the performance of Sharwa in 'Prasthanam' which got selected for Indian Panorama in the recent Goa Film Festival and hence signed a movie with him recently.The maverick director is penning the script for this film which will go on floors from the next week. This flick will later be dubbed into Telugu too and is being jointly produced by Murugadoss and 20thcentury Fox.
