The latest name dong the rounds with respect to Dirty Picture's remake is of Richa Gangopadhyay. The Mirapakai actress has, however, clarified that she is not part of project and that she would not do it even if she was offered the role.After names of some top actresses, including Anushka Shetty, were coined, the name of has been buzzed in the past few days.Reacting to this, the Bengali girl says, "I have not been offered any such role. And even if I am approached for the southern remake of Dirty Picture, I would not accept it." Richa is currently playing the female lead in Bengali film 'Bikram Singha', which is a remake of Tamil hit 'Siruthai' (that's Vikramarkudu). The actress is thrilled about doing a film in her mother tongue. "The character is a slightly modified one when compared to the Tamil version," she signs off.

Objects to Gabbar Singh song - JustTollywood.com News
Yet another controversy surrounding Gabbar Singh was born when the Andhra Pradesh Police Officers' Association raised an objection to Pawan Kalyan dancing with scantily-dressed women in the film, with his khaki clothes on. The Association says that it is objectionable.Since the khaki uniform is respected for its symbolic significance, disrespecting it in the name of entertainment has never gone down well with members of the department from time to time. Gabbar Singh features many numbers, including an item song. The Association demands that objectionable content if any in the May 11 release must be omitted before the film's release.

The CID today conducted search operations inside the premises of producer C Kalyan's Balaji Colour Lab. The news has raised yet another controversy over the producer's alleged links with the Bhanu. The CID undertook the operation to search the premises upon Bhanu's confessions.It has been reported that Kalyan had been involved in many alleged financial improprieties in cahoots with Bhanu. Bhanu's much-reported links with big film personalities are so well-known that they don't need reiteration here.Some documents were seized at the lab.

SS Thaman is back into action. It is known that he has been signed to score music for Ravi Teja's next. To be directed by Gopichand Malineni, who has become confident after directing a big star like Venkatesh for Bodyguard, this one has been derogatively titled as Balupu.The film sees the coming together of the hit combo of Don Seenu, though Mani Sharma has been replaced by Thaman. The happening music director is pretty happy on having starting his work for Balupu. Gopichand has taken extra pains to go on floors with a bound script, as his responsibility has only increased after Bodyguard. He achieved a feat of sorts by continuing his good record for the second film.

Kandireega director complains against Bellamkonda - JustTollywood.com News
It is Bellamkonda Suresh versus Santosh Srinivas all the way. Film Nagar is abuzz now, discussing something very open and controversial. The Kandireega director has complained to the Directors' Council that his producer, Suresh, bet him and even threatened him with severe consequences if he did not make suitable changes to the script of Kandireega-2. Another version goes that the director-producer duo have problems with remuneration issues.
The Council is looking into the director's complaint. It is not clear whether the Council has taken cognizance of the death threat angle as has been reported. That the director has approached the Council, which has started the investigation process under the supervision of Sagar (director), makes it a serious issue.The film was announced officially and is all set to go on floors in June. However, with allegations flying thick in the air, the film is now in the news for wrong reasons. Since the rift between Suresh and Srinivas is out in the open, the same may put a spanner in the progress of the sequel.

Siddharth and Sunil are going to share space in Nandini Reddy's film. This will be jointly produced by Sid and Chakravarthy Ramachandra (Ram). The film marks the coming together of two contrasting faces and the ensemble casting may well work in the film's favour.Plans for the film are on and since Nandini is busy shooting for her current film with Samantha and Sid, it may take some time for the makers to announce it publicly. The characters which the two actors will be playing in this film will be keenly watched. The film is learnt to go on the floors in the last quarter of 2012. Should the film become a hit, there will be no looking back for the trend of ensemble casting in Tollywood. Multi-starrers have already got a booster.

Sid to play lead in remakes of LF and Vicky Donor - JustTollywood.com News
It is known that Siddharth is interested in remaking the latest Hindi hit, Vicky Donor. After he laid hands on the remake rights of the film, in partnership with Y Not Studios, he is all set to play the lead in the film's Tamil remake. Sashikanth, who owns Y Not Studios, informed us that some changes will be made to the 'Vicky Donor' script to suit the sensibilities of Tamil audience, Sashikanth says the original flavour will be retained.Much is happening on the front.
Sid will be reprising the role he played in Love Failure in the Hindi remake of the movie. A deal has already been struck by Y Not Studios with the producers of Vicky Donor. Giving details on this win-win deal, Sashikanth says, "If things go as planned, we will tie-up with the Bollywood company which produced Vicky Donor for both these projects. While they will take care of Hindi LF, we will do Tamil Vicky Donor."It will be interesting to see if the Tamil version of Vicky Donor will be dubbed into Telugu. The details of other cast members, along with the directors, is expected to be out soon.
