It is well known about the friendship between Ram Gopal Varma and Lagadapati Rajagopal. Ram Gopal Varma was senior to Lagadapati in the Siddhartha Engineering college in Vijayawada. Once Lagadapati had a tiff with one classmate and he took the help of RGV'a gang to attack that person! This was revealed by RGV himself once. Even after college they have remained close friends.

But now his friend, Lagadapati, is not happy with him. Speaking to a news channel in a live discussion he said RGV should not have selected the title of 'Bezawada Rowdy' for his next film.

Incidentally Vallabhaneni Vamsi and Vangaveeti Radha have openly warned RGV of dire consequences. But RGV gave them only one reply, 'I do not bother about what others think. I will make the film and I am the rowdy of all rowdys!" So does he mean that Vamsi and Radha are Rowdys too?

In the context of Chalasani Pandu being brutally murdered in Real Estate Mafia, Varma’s comments have come into severe attention and criticism.

Telugu Desham leader from Vijayawada, Vallabhaneni Vamsy who was continuously targeting Varma from the time of ‘Rakta Charitra’ has now called our eccentric film maker as ‘Shavaala Meeda Chillara Erukune Director’ (Director who picks coins that are thrown on dead bodies).

‘Varma is such a cheap director who picks up controversial happenings in the society and tries to remain in limelight every time. This has become his regular routine and he can’t understand the sentiments of people in Vijayawada who are still in the shock after the murder of Pandu,’ said Vamsy.

Veteran artist and director Bapu has roped in Balakrishna for a new movie based on the story of Lord Rama’s children – Lava and Kusa.

Making mythological movies is not new to Bapu who has made some golden movies like Sampoorna Ramayanam, Seetha Kalyanam and many more will now make a new movie based on the story of Lava and Kusa. Balakrishna will play the lead role in the movie. Interestingly, an old movie based on the same story titled ‘Lava Kusa’ had NT Ramarao in the lead role and now his son Balakrishna is part of the new version.

The movie has been named Sri RamaRajyam. The movie launch will take place on September 30th. Maestro Ilayaraja will handle the music for the movie. Reports have it that the maestro has already recorded two songs. If Balakrishna is Lord Rama, wonder who Sita is. There is a lot of speculation that Nayantara will play the coveted role but nothing has been confirmed. Whom do you think, will suit the role of Sita?

Having a long association with Vijawayada where he pursued his engineering in Siddartha Engineering College, RGV tried to recreate college politics and fights in his first movie itself ‘Shiva’ but according to him what he showed was just a drop in an ocean.

RGV, the man who showed Mumbai underworld in fiction and now Rayalaseema faction through ‘Rakta Charithra’ is planning to show the lifestyle and story of Goons in Vijayawada also known as ‘Bejawada’. Power Star Pawan Kalyan might use Sync Sound for his current Telugu movie a remake of ‘Love Aaj Kal’ tentatively titled Kushiga.Sync Sound is a technique where the artists dialogues can recorded while shooting itself and need to dub for the dialogues later. Remember, it was Pawan Kalyan, who introduced sync sound system in Telugu cinema with his debut movie (as director) Johnny.
