Tax exemption for 'Maya Bazaar' - JustTollywood.com News

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has made an announcement saying Maya Bazar's colour version, released on the 30th Jan, will be exempted from entertainment tax.The legendary Telugu film, which was released on March 27 1957, was directed by KV Reddy and starred Late NT Rama Rao as Lord Krishna, A Nageswara Rao as Abhimanyu, Late Gummadi as Balarama and Late SV Ranga Rao as Ghatothkach. Mahanati (Late) Savithri was seen in the role of Sasirekha.
The film has been brought before the audience in a colorized version by Trinity Infra Ventures. It has been marketed by RB Chowdhary of Super Good Films.The film boasts of many musical masterpieces like Ahana Pellianta, Sundari Oho Sundari and Vivaha Bhojanambu. Also, Relangi's role of Lakshmana Kumara and Mukkamala's Duryodhana, not to forget CSR's Shakuni, became all-time famous characters.
It is only fitting that the film has been exempted of tax, as it represents the best cinematic values.

Padmapriya may not be a popular face here in Andhra Pradesh, though she first got introduced with the Telugu film Seenu Vasanthi Lakshmi. But she has been a popular actress in Tamil and Malayalam. Soon, the actress will be seen in Chandra Siddhartha's Andari Banduvaya. However, it is her Hindi release Siddhartha's starrer Striker, which is going to be more important for her.
Striker is a film where Siddharth is going to be seen as a carrom player, while Padmapriya is playing his romantic interest. Set to release in Hindi and Telugu on the 5th of February, the film is important for her as she can hope to bounce back in Telugu and make a strong entry in Hindi.The actress with a great potential is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer, who has acted in more than two dozen films so far. Her famous Tamil film Thavamai Thavamirundhu, in which she played director Cheran's love interest.
Known for her good acting skills, the actress must be keeping her fingers crossed as her most important release Striker is coming before the audience in a week's time.She is playing Madhu in the film. Aakasa Ramanna releasing on February 19 - JustTollywood.com News

Sivaji -starrer Aakasa Ramanna is set to release on the 19th of next month. The film also stars Naresh and Rajiv Kanakla in the leads. In fact, the film is a multi-starrer, given that there are going to be Meera Jasmine and Gauri Pandit, who will be seen in interesting roles too.The film is directed by Ashok and produced by Manyam Ramesh. Produced under the banner of Manyam Entertainments, the film is a suspense entertainer. Between the three - Sivaji, Naresh and Rajiv Kanakala, is an Aakasa ramanna, who remains a mystery till the end.

The unit of Namo Venkatesha is planning to go on special tours across the state, once the film reaches the 50-day mark. Already, the film has been declared a hit and is said to be earning good collections at the box office. "We are making plans to celebrate special platinum disc function soon. Also, to celebrate the 50-day run, a function and success tour are being planned," said a special press release from 14 Reels Entertainment.
Saying that Namo Venkatesa is a good-grosser among Venky's films, the release said that a Grand Platinum Disc function and Namo Venkatesa Tirumala Success tour are on the anvil.The tours will see the participation of the entire cast and crew.
Producers Anil Sunkara and Gopi Achanta are planning to conduct the tours in the first and second weeks of February.The comedy-significant film was released on the occasion of Sankranthi and has been lapped up by family audience and youths.
