'Jhummandi Nadam' completes 50 days successfully! - JustTollywood.com News



K.Raghavendra Rao’s directorial ‘Jhummandi Nadam’ starring Manchu Manoj and debutant Tapsee in the lead has completed its 50 days mark successfully by today. It is produced by Lakshmi Manchu and Mohan Babu is playing a prominent role in the film. Bhupathi Raja has given the story of the film while Gopi Mohan has developed the screenplay. Melody composer Keeravani has scored the music.

While speaking at the occasion, Lakshmi Manchu says “Jhummandi Nadam is the biggest film in Manoj’s career in box office collections. The film has completed 50 days in 30 centers. The film got good accolades for its music as well as its literature. Tapsee glamour has helped this film a lot. She entered the Telugu film industry through ‘Jhummandi Nadam’ and now turned into a busy heroine. I thank Keeravani garu for provided a wonderful music and the audience for watching and appreciating it.”

'Brindaavanam' audio to release on Aug 27th! - JustTollywood.com News

Producer Dil Raju is planning to release the audio of NTR’s much waited anticipated latest upcoming flick ‘Brindaavanam’ on August 27th and the film is expected to release in September. Aditya music is going to release the audio into market. The film has reached its final schedule and will finish entire shooting in few days

It is being directed by Vamsi Paidipally and Dil Raju is producing this film under his banner ‘Sri Venkateshwara Creations’. Chota.K.Naidu is handling the cinematography while Thaman is scoring the music. Kajal and Samantha are playing the female leads opposite NTR in the film.

Prem Rakshit to choreograph for 'Mahesh Khaleja' - JustTollywood.com News



Tollywood’s leading choreographer Prem Rakshit is going to choreograph Mahesh Babu for the first time in his upcoming film ‘Mahesh Khaleja’. It is heard from the latest sources that he is going to compose steps for Mahesh’s intro song in the film. The lyrics of the song starts with ‘Ne babugadi roada idi ne amma vesina roada idi’ with the background chorus ‘taxi taxi taxi’. The song was penned by Ram Jogayya Sastry.

The film is undergoing its shooting at fast pace and is left with couple of songs to be canned.The film is being directed by Trivikram Srinivas and being produced by Singanamala Ramesh under ‘Sri Kanakarathna Movies’ banner. The movie makers are planning to release the audio by this month end and the film by September. Let’s hope all goes well without any further delay in the schedule and will soon have Mahesh on big screen.

'Orange' Starts Dubbing Today - JustTollywood.com News



Ram Charan’s big budget movie ‘Orange’ will start its dubbing from today, 19th August, in Hyderabad. Besides shooting in Hyderabad, the dubbing will be carried out simultaneously. Directed by ‘Bomarillu’ Bhaskar, the movie has had a major schedule overseas. News is that the film’s unit will travel to foreign lands again to shoot songs and other scenes from August 24th to September 16th.

‘Orange’ produced by Ram Charan’s uncle Nagababu for Anjana Productions is a love story with a difference. Genelia and Shazhan Padamsee are the heroines of the movie. Tamil actor Prabhu, who’s off late concentrating in supporting roles (he played Prabhas father’s role in ‘Darling’), will be seen playing an important role in ‘Orange’.

Nagarjuna's Swapped Role - JustTollywood.com News



Known to all Telugu film buffs, Nagarjuna will act in a Tamil movie titled ‘Mankatha’ directed by ‘Saroja’ fame Venkat Prabhu. The movie will also be made in Telugu but sources add that Nag will be the hero in the Telugu version.

‘Mankatha’ is the 50th movie for Tamil’s leading hero Ajith in which Nag is playing a crucial character. Sources add that director Venkat Prabhu is contemplating a dedicated Telugu version for the movie, where Nag and Ajith’s characters will be swapped. That means, the Telugu version will see Nag playing the role of the hero while Ajith will play Nag’s character of the Tamil version. This is something that has been tried in the recent ‘Villain’ with Vikram swapping Prithviraj’s role in Hindi ‘Raavan’.

As of now a teaser of ‘Mankatha’ has been made and it will be screened from come Friday. It would be interesting to see the teaser as director Venkat Prabhu says that it will arouse curiosity among the audience.

'Bommali' wins Best Actress at Cine'Maa' 2010 - JustTollywood.com News



All of us know the strong contenders of 2009 were ‘Magadheera’ and ‘Arundathi’. Though ‘Magadheera’ had the last laugh, ‘Arundathi’ bagged the coveted ‘Best Actress’ award. ‘Bommali’ Anushka won the ‘Best Actress’ award for her stellar performance in ‘Arundathi’. Handsome hero Rana gave the award to Anusha along with MAA TV Chairman Murali Krishnam Raju. ‘Arundathi’ also received the ‘Best Cinematography’ award that was also jointly awarded to ‘Magadheera’. Senthil received it.

The surprise element of the awards was the award of the ‘Best Music Director’ award. Most of them thought that ‘Magadheera’ would bag the award as it had bagged the ‘Best Lyricist’, ‘Best Male Singer’ and ‘Best Female Singer’ award but the ‘Best Music Director’ award went to Devi Sri Prasad for his foot tapping music in ‘Arya 2’. The ‘Best Comedian’ award was presented to Bramhanandam by Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna. There was great amount of fun while Bramhanandam received the award for his performance in ‘Koncham Ishtam Koncham Kashtam’. All of them had a hearty laugh.

The Debut award for ‘Director’ went to Kishore of ‘Koncham Ishtam Koncham Kashtam’ while the debut award for ‘Music Director’ went to Hemachandra for his composition for ‘Ride’. The ‘Best Debut Male’ award went to Naga Chaitanya that was received by Nagarjuna on behalf of his son.The best moment of the Cine‘Maa’ awards was the presentation of ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award to lyricist Dr. C. Narayana Reddy. The stage was filled with all generation of film personalities. Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Raghavendra Rao, Nagarjuna, Chiranjeevi, and others were present on the stage to honour the veteran lyricist.

Besides giving away the awards, entertainment programmes like Parvathi Milton’s dance, Rakhi Sawant’s dance, spoof shows of ‘Gitanjali’ and ‘Magadheera’, etc were performed. Over all, it was a glitzy event that had its moments of fun.

Cine'Maa' Awards 10: 'Magadheera' grabs it all - JustTollywood.com News



SS Rajamouli’s success savor continues as his ‘Magadheera’ after grabbing awards in almost all ceremonies, turned to be the show stealer at the Cine‘Maa’ Awards 2010 held in Hyderabad. The awards were raining on the ‘Magadheera’ team. It started from choreographer Prem Rakshith for his classy ‘choreography’ for the ‘Bangaru Kodipitta’ song. Then it continued with the ‘Best Art Director’ award to Ravinder but Senthil received it on his behalf. ‘Magadheera’ also grabbed ‘The Best Editor’ award for Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao.

Singer Anuj Gurwara who has been receiving the same award for the time for his beautiful performance in ‘Panchadhara Bomma’ song in ‘Magadheera’. The lyricist Chandrabose received the ‘Best Lyricist’ for the same song. Not just that even The ‘Best Female Singer’ award was won by the movie and it went to Nikita Nigam for her performance in ‘Dheera Dheera’.

Now the cream and icing on the cake! Undoubtedly the ‘Best Director’ and the ‘Best Producer’ awards along with the ‘Best Picture’ were awarded to ‘Magadheera’. Director Rajamouli received his award while Allu Arvind received the Best Producer and Best Picture award. Ram Charan received his ‘Best Actor’ Award. 12 heroines along with Nagarjuna presented the award to him.

It was a common sight to see the team members of ‘Magadheera’ go up the stage and receive their awards. The movie’s name kept buzzing in the Hyderabad International Convention Centre all through out the evening!
