It is not happy news for Daggubati Rana who is having high hopes on Nenu Naa Rakshasi.This movie which was released on Friday was declared as flop right after the first show was screened. Even worse is that Rana’s performance is being bashed by the critics black and blue.
Rana didn’t receive positive reviews for his recent Bollywood release Dum Maro Dum too. However, Nenu Naa Rakshasi is the feedback that counts more as he is looking for a serious career in Tollywood.Rana was raw in Nenu Naa Rakshasi.Except for good looks and great physique Rana has nothing to boast of as an actor.He couldn’t pull off sentiment and romantic scenes.His expressions in the sentiment scenes involving a kid are mediocre at the best.Rana do need to hit the acting school as early as possible before he is ruled out completely.Naa Ishtam movie will be the real test for him.

Bala Krishna's 'Sri RamaRajyam' undershoot - JustTollywood.com News

Bala Krishna is currently busy with the shoot of the mythological film Sri Rama Rajyam that is currently taking place in Alwal in Hyderabad outskirts.The schedule will continue till May and few vital scenes are being shot in a specially erected set.Sri Rama Rajyam was earlier supposed to release on 10th June, but may get postponed due to the strike undergone in Tollywood, which has wasted many call sheets of the cast of the film. Nayantara is playing the role of Goddess Sita in the film, pairing up with Bala Krishna. This multi-starrer film has ANR, Srikanth, Sai Kumar in the important roles. Yalamanchali Sai Babu is producing the film under Sri Sai Baba Movies banner and Ilayaraja is scoring the music.

Kannada star Puneet Rajkumar and Bhavana starrer Kannada to Telugu dubbed film 'Jackie' will release across AP on May 6th.The audio of this film was launched long ago.The film had the same title in Kannada too and it did farely well at Sandalwood box office. Nadendla Sujatha from Suraj Films banner is presenting this movie to Telugu audience. Ravi Kale, Sumitra,Sampath, Shobharaj, Rangayana Raghu et al acted in this film.

Harikrishna composed music for it. Puneet Rajkumar's mother Parvatamma Rajkumar is one of the producers for this movie.This movie marks the entry of Puneet into Telugu market. So far only Upendra's films from Sandalwood used to get dubbed into Telugu market.This movie is a story on human trafficking and how the hero busts the racket.Bhavana plays the role of a victim of human trafficking."Puneet has a mass role in the movie.There are five songs and five fights.The story is racy and entertaining.The romantic scenes between hero and heroine are highlight of the movie. It was the time when Rana team met the press for the first at a five star hotel in Chennai on April 29 evening.The press conference was held to give some brief details about the film and also to introduce Deepika Padukone.On speaking about the film Director K S Ravikumar said: The very thing I want to convey is Rana is an all new film and it has nothing to do with Sultan.When Rajini described the script of Rana, I got stucked to it and understood that it has all ingredients in a perfect ratio for a mass movie."

He added that “Rana is a absolutely a periodic film set in the 17th century. The shoot of Rana will start with a duet song on the lead pair on the huge set erected at AVM Studios”.The duet song sung by Chinmayi and Sreenivas has the music by A R Rahman. Gorgeous Deepika Padukone said “I am really happy to be a part of Rana and it is a dream come true for me to pair opposite Rajini sir.Opportunities like this come only once in a lifetime." Meanwhile, director Ravi Kumar is canning few scenes on Deepika Padukone as Rajini was advised to take rest for a week days as he is not doing well.
