FICUS acquires Robo USA Rights - JustTollywood.com News



FICUS
, the leader in overseas distribution has acquired the USA theatrical rights of both Telugu and Tamil versions of Superstar Rajanikanth's ‘Robo’. Acknowledging Sun Pictures for the opportunity given to them, FICUS thank Kalanidhi Maran and Hansraj Saxena for giving them this opportunity to work on their prestigious project ‘Robo’.

Shankar's futuristic film ‘Robo’ will be a real science-fiction in Tamil/Telugu after many decades. It is also going to be the biggest Indian film ever made not just in terms of the money spent on production but also on the line up cast and crew assembled for the film. Besides Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles other major stars in the film include Danny Denzongpa, Santhanam and Kalabavan Mani.

The technical crew of ‘Robo’ is hand picked by Shankar from all over the world comprising the best of the world. Oscar Winner AR Rahman, Hollywood stunt director Yuen Woo Ping who designed action scenes for films like The Matrix, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, etc, Animatronics studio Stan Winston Studios which handled visual effects for iconic films like Aliens, Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park, etc. Industrial Light & Magic that handled the special effects for films like Avatar, Star Wars, and Titanic worked on visual and special effects. Buzz says about 40 per cent of the budget was spent on the special effects.

Ram Charan's Next with Krishna Vamsi - JustTollywood.com News



If sources are to be believed, Ram Charan will act in the direction of sensational director Krishna Vamsi. Apparently, Chiranjeevi invited Krishna Vamsi for a discussion to make a movie with Ram Charan as the hero. After a story narration session, Krishna Vamsi had impressed Chiranjeevi and the nod to make the movie was immediately given.

Sources add that the new movie will be produced by Ghanta Srinivasa Rao, a Praja Rajyam Party MLA. The movie will start shooting in October this year

With this, Ram Charan’s association with talented directors is increasing. He made his debut under Puri Jagannadh with ‘Chirutha’, and later worked with Rajamouli in ‘Magadheera’ and Bomarillu Bhaskar in ‘Orange’, getting to act under Krishna Vamsi will be a welcome opportunity to Ram Charan. He would hope to act under such fine directors.

The glamorous actress Shirya who ruled the Tollywood industry in top place acting with all top heroes as well as young heroes quite for some years went to bollywood and away from the south industry. As she failed to get success in bollywood, she was back to Tollywood recently with ‘Don Seenu’ and wooed the Telugu audience again with her glamor and performance.

She is also doing an item song with Pawan Kalyan in his upcoming film ‘Komaram Puli’ and also expecting more offers after it. The actress said that though she is getting good offers, she is taking some time to choose nice scripts.

Shirya said “I acted with Mahesh in ‘Arjun’. Though the film was not a super hit but I learnt many things from Mahesh. I couldn’t forget the work experience with Mahesh. If I get a chance to work with Mahesh, I will act once again”.

It is already known that power star Pawan Kalyan has signed up a new film which is the remake of Bollywood movie ‘Love Aaj Kal’ starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. The film has been tentatively titled as ‘Kushiga’. Earlier it was said that slim beauty Ileana will play the the female lead opposite Pawan in this film. Now the latest news is that glamorous dusky beauty Trisha has replaced Ileana in this film.

According to film sources, Ileana has given major dates to director Shankar for the remake of ‘3 Idiots’ that has Mahesh Babu in the lead. So, as there are no free call sheets she cannot make up the film with Pawan. On the other hand, Trisha is said to be very lucky to get this prestigious offer.

'Komaram Puli' releasing on Sep 9th - JustTollywood.com News

’s ‘Komaram Puli’ directed by SJ Surya will see light finally on September 9th but there are a few conditions have to be applied. ‘Puli’ that has been in the making for the past 2 years will be released on September 9th subject to completion of post production work which is scheduled to finish in the next 2-3 Days.

In simple words, only upon the completion of the post production work in the next two or three days, the movie will released on September 9th. Produced by Kanakarathna Movies, ‘Puli’ will be distributed by Geetha Films. Let us hope the movie releases soon!
