Shriya Saran has been roped in for a meaty role in a Telugu film, in which she would play a commercial sex worker. "I liked the script and hence I am doing it," the Nuvva Nena actress has been quoted as saying. Our sources tell us that a top director recently approached Shriya with the role and narrated to her the complete script. "The actress was thoroughly impressed with it and was fully convinced that the film would bring her honours," they say. If this is to be believed, Shriya is well on the path of Charmee, who is playing a whore in director Chandu (Tenth Class and Notebook fame) forthcoming musical romance. "This is a musical love story that deals with the relationship between a sex worker, a singer and a writer. Charmi`s character is a meaty one," the director was quoted as saying. KVJ, in the words of the award-winning director sees Nayan playing a documentary filmmaker. "Heroines in my films always have importance. Janaki and Saroja lead the story from the front.
