Several films are coming up in Bollywood with different stars working together for a film and multi-starrers are common in Hindi films these days.However, Tollywood is yet to rise to the occasion, as our heroes and their fans had their own ego to work together. During earlier days, several films came in the combination of NTR-Krishna, Krishna- Sobhanbabu, NTR-ANR, Krishnam Raju and others used to work together though they too maintained a huge fan following.Almost after 1990, real multi-starrer films disappeared from the Telugu screen.

However, our heroes claim that we are ready to work with any other hero, if any director comes up with suitable story.There was a gossip sometime ago that Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh would work for a film.They too accepted the offer because they maintain good friendship between each other.It was also gossiped that Srikanth Addala prepared the story and both the heroes reportedly impressed with the subject and gave a green signal to bring out the film. Dil Raju had come forward to produce the film too.However, the film failed to see light till date and both the heroes turned busy with their respective projects.When will Tollywood have a real multi-starrer?

'Bhoo..' started shooting - JustTollywood.com News

With many fresh faces, horror film ' Bhoo...' started shooting in Hyderabad on Wednesday.The story of a channel crew who go to Erramala forest and stay in a building and how each of them gets killed one after the other, 'Bhoo' is a suspense thriller.The story on how many of them come back alive and who kills them makes for a great thriller . Veteran producer Tammareddy Bharadwaja was present at the Muhurtham shot of this film. K Vikramaditya Reddy is debuting as director with this movie and Lakshmi Soujanya Gopal is producing it on Shubhodaya Productions banner.

Abhinaya is acting in this picture apart from Bindhu Chari, Balaram et al play the lead roles in this psycho thriller. Sadhive Devendra is the music composer. Infact it has been long that a suspense thriller came up in Telugu.Though films like 'Mangala' released, they turned out to be laughing stocks and didn't scare even a bit.We are yet to see how this film does.The outline of the story however sounds like 'Darna Mana Hai' that released in Hindi few years ago.

'Dongala Muta' coming on March 18th - JustTollywood.com News

Controversial director Ram Gopal Varma’s another experimental film "Dongala Muta" is ready to hit the silver screens on March 18th.The shooting of the movie was completed in just five days, the film shooting was started on 9th February and it was completed on 13th February. This film has made with zero budget,after movie releases the payment would be given according to their pre agreement from the movie profits. The shooting was done in the regular shifts only from 9 am to 6 pm, without any extra time.

As per the sources this film has made with only 8 crew members and the entire film was shot in natural lights with 4 Canon 5D cameras. Director Puri Jagannadh worked as co-director and director Harish Shankar (Mirapakai director) worked as associate director for the film.The movie has stars like Raviteja, Charmi, Lakshmi Prassanna, Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam .Other cast includes Ajay, Subba Raju, Supreet and Brahmaji. Ram Gopal Varma also registered another movie title “Pelli” this will hit the floors after “Dongala Muta” release.

NTR, Ileana starrer Shakthi is wrapping up its post-production formalities at rapid pace.The re-recording work for the film is currently taking place at Prague in Czechoslovakia. Touted as the highest budgeted film in Telugu Cinema history, producer Ashwini Dutt informed that the movie was shot in World’s top locations and the unit is said to be taking utmost care in every aspect to bring out the best output. Speaking to Media, Ashwini Dutt says, “Shakthi is shot in world’s top locations with highest budget.The movie will be released in Telugu and Tamil versions worldwide on March 30th with highest number of prints. Shakthi is all set for a release in AP, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Orissa, North India and overseas in Telugu while Tamil Nadu and Kerala states will see the Tamil versions.We are sure that Shakthi is going to create a sensation all over.”

'Karalu Miriyalu' release March 18 - JustTollywood.com News

With Madhushalini and Navakesh in the lead, 'Karalu Miriyalu' is a love story that deals with conflicts between couple based out of UK and Scotland. Pasupuleti Venkatarama Rao is directing and producing it on his Blue Ray productions banner. Michael Gambon who turned popular with the role of 'Dumbledore', acted in this movie.The audio of the movie was launched last week in Hyderabad.Most of the star cast in this film are new faces.While Madhushalini did a few forgettable films and item numbers, Navakesh is an radio jockey turned actor.Though there have been a few NRI Telugu films and movies based out of US like Padamati Sandhya Ragam, Vennela and recently LBW. 'Karalu Miriyalu' will become the first Telugu movie based out of UK.This NRI movie is all set to release on 18th of this month.

The University of Milan, Italy, has decided to confer an honorary doctorate in Fine Arts on ‘Cheeyan’ Vikram.The actor himself disclosed this on Wednesday, while inaugurating the annual national inter-college cultural festival at SRM University in Kattankulathur, whose name too is Milan.“This is a pure coincidence.This is the first time I am making this announcement in public and I am happy to do that at Milan,” Vikram said, even as students welcomed it with a warm applause.

When a student posed a question on whether he was interested in entering politics,Vikram said in a lighter vein, “I do not know how to wear a dhoti.I will think of politics after I start wearing a dhoti with out a belt.” Music legend Balamuralikrishna also spoke.The three day festival would have participation of over 7,000 students from 200 leading univercities and colleges of Engineering and Technology, Arts and Science, Medical, Paramedical and Management colleges across the country.
