After the success of ‘Gopi Gopika Godavari’, Venu was in a dilemma in selecting the scripts and finally okayed the remake of a successful Malayalam film ‘CID Moosa’. Titled as ‘Ramachari’, with an interesting tagline as ‘Veedo Pedda Gudhachari’, the film had completed its shooting and other post-production formalities recently.The film was directed by G. Eshwar and produced by Venkata Shyam Prasad on the banner of SP Entertainments.However, the producer is intentionally delaying the release of the film because of the exam to students and the World Cup cricket fever.Venu kept high hopes on the film and Venu’s lucky mascot Kamalini Mukherji paired up with him in the female lead.

It is well aware that Srinivasa Reddy is directing Nagarjuna for ‘Damarukam’ produced by Venkat on the banner of RR Movie Makers with Anushka in the female lead. It is touted that the film would be a socio fantasy film.Srinivasa Reddy, who brought out a film called ‘Yamagola Malli Modalaindhi' in which he had shown Lord Yama and Chintragupta and some funny incidents that were weaven around him.In this film, he is expected to bring down Lord Siva, who is known to be using the ‘Damurakam’ (an instrument that produces tremendous sound).

The regular shooting of the film would begin in April. Though the shooting could be wrapped up within three months, the graphic works may take a longer time because of the socio-fantasy nature of the film.Hence, the producers had announced that it would be safe to announce the release date in January. Nagarjuna would portray a full-length mass role in this film after a long time.

Geetha Krishna is directing and producing ‘Coffee Bar’ on the banner of Blue Cinema with Shashank as hero. The film is all set for release through Lakshmi Ganapati Films on March 11.Speaking on the occasion, the director cum producer says, ‘The film is being released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada languages. We got the film censored in Karnataka as per the Kannada film industry rules. Later, we submitted the Telugu version to Censor Board in AP. We are releasing the Tamil version in 110 screens, and in Kannada in 35 theatres through Blue Fox. The film was made with mind game in the backdrop and the film is of suspense thriller genre. We concentrated on the value of money and the problems arise from the money besides anti-terrorism element.

In Tamil there is a rule that there should not be English titles so we titled the Tamil version as ‘Namidangal’. Likewise in Kannada we gave the title as ‘Coffee Shop’. Our film has good depth and hence we are confident that the film would be liked by all classes of audiences.’ Shashank says, ‘I played the hero in all the three languages. We worked very hard for the film and Geetha krishna extracted the right performance from me. I learnt a lot about acting and it is a good experience for me. The film would also be a musical hit.’
