'Rajanna' shooting off to a start - JustTollywood.com News

The shooting of ‘Rajanna’, directed by Vijayendra Prasad and produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna on the banner of Annapurna Studios was launched formally at the ‘Maryada Ramanna’ house set in Kokapet with Nagarjuna playing the title role. The muhurat was held with a grand puja there. The film deals with the story of a martyr who fought with the Rajakars during the armed struggle of Nizam’s regime.

Nagarjuna says, ‘The entire film would have dialogues in out and out Telangana dialect and the film runs with pre -Independence era in the backdrop. However, Nagarjuna would join the unit in November after completing the present project ‘Ragada’ with Veeru Potla. In a contrast, Nagarjuna is playing the role of the owner of a market yard in Kadapa and he makes use of complete Rayalaseema slang for ‘Ragada’.

While Sneha is pairing opposite Nagarjuna in ‘Rajanna’, Anushka and Priyamani are co-starring with Nag in ‘Ragada’.

The film unit of ‘Orange’ (Love in Fall) directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and produced by K Nagababu on the banner of Anjana Productions with Ram Charan and Genelia had completed its schedule recently in Hyderabad. The film unit had left for Sydney on Monday (October 11) for an abroad schedule. The foreign schedule was planned from October 12 to 30, wherein the director is planning to can two songs involving Ram Charan and Genelia under the choreography by Shobhi.

In addition to this two action scenes were also planned there and the director is planning to take the help of some Hollywood stunt master for some novelty. The producer is planning to launch the audio on October 22 and is making efforts to release the film on November 2nd wee

Censor Board gives 'A' to Rakta Charitra - JustTollywood.com News

Ramgopal Varma, who is in the thick of controversies, submitted his latest trilingual film, ‘Rakta Charitra’, which was simultaneously made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages, for censor certification. The Andhra Pradesh State Board of Film Certification aka Censor Board awarded ‘A’ certificate on the expected lines.

RGV himself claimed that it was highly action-oriented film with lots of bloodshed. As the board objected to use the word Anantapuram in the film, the makers changed it to Anandapuram. According to RGV’s posting in Twitter, the film is slated for release on October 22. The entire film unit is planning to go to Anantapur to watch the film along with the audiences on the first day to note down the reaction from them.

Basically the film was made with the real life incidents that led to the murder of Paritala Ravindra and the factional violence that is marring the region for quite few decades. Vivek Oberoi, Surya, Priyamani are playing the lead roles in the film. As the length of the film was quite long, the producer cum director is planning to release the film in two parts in a gap of one month or 50 days.
