Tollywood Stars to Play T20 this June - JustTollywood.com News

The T20 cricket tournament will be held on June 13th at Hyderbad’s L.B.Shastri Stadium. At a press conference, senior actor Murali Mohan said the tournament will have four teams with captains being the enigmatic actors- Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh.

Balakrishna at the press conference revealed that the matches will be telecasted on TV with 24 cameras to cover the match just like IPL matches. While the selection of players for the team would take place on May 15th, the unveiling of the team jerseys would happen on May 30th.

Similar tournaments were held in 2003 and 2005. Rhythm Group along with Movie Artists Association is going to organize this tournament that will also have some cultural programs to entertain the audience. The tournament will start at 9am and go on till 11 pm. Also in the agenda is, a rally with the artists propagating Anti-piracy slogans in the ground.The cricket fever continues in the form of T20 World cup and when it completes, we have our stars to carry on the excitement of the game in June. We just can’t wait to see Venky or Balayya hit a six!

'Golimaar' audio launched! - JustTollywood.com News

Gopichand & Puri Jagannath’s combo film, ‘Golimaar’ audio was launched yesterday at club Jayabheri. Several celebrities from tollywood such as Bellamkonda Suresh, Gopichand, VV Vinayak, Seenu Vytla, Boyapati Seenu, Puri Jagannath, Dil Raju, Bhogavally Prasad, ML Kumar Chowdary, DVV Danayya, Pokuri Babu Rao, Paruchuri Prasad, Paruchuri Kiriti, Chakri, Bhaskarabhatla Ravi Kumar, Vijay, Shyam K Naidu, Chakri, Chinna, Vasu, Simha, Kousalya, Priyamani, Prabhas attended the event.

VV Vinayak has launched the audio CD and presented the first copy to Prabhas while Seenu Vytla launched audio cassette and presented it to to Boypati Seenu.

Puri Jagannath said, “The story of this movie is inspired by encounter specialist Daya Nayak’s life. I love the profession of police. A sub-inspector called Vali slapped me when I was a student because I was involved in a dispute. The same Vali attended the 200 days function of Pokiri as a chief guest. I couldn’t attend that function but saw him in TV and felt happy that he slapped me. His slap made me realize in not attracting to bad elements. Gopichand gave terrific performance as cop in this movie. Bellamkonda Suresh committed another project with me without looking at the final copy of this movie.”

Gopichand said, “I felt very happy when I got the opportunity to work with a big director like Puri Jagannath. I had been waiting for this opportunity from very long time. Puri is very comfortable to work with. He is very cool and relaxed person. He has shown me Daya Nayak. Bellamkonda Suresh trusted the story and director Puri Jagannath. This movie has come out very well. I wish that this movie will become a success.”

Bellamkonda Suresh said, “I introduced VV Vinayak as a director. But I felt very happy when he announced a movie with my son as hero when my position was getting down. VV Vinayak is the reason for my strong position today.”

'Param Veera Chakra' launch on Bala Krishna's birthday! - JustTollywood.com News

Dasari Narayana Rao has announced his 150th film with Bala Krishna in the male lead and the movie is titled as ‘Param Veera Chakra’. The movie will be produced by C.Kalyan .

Producer C Kalyan ha organized a press meet yesterday. Expressing his happiness on this project producer C Kalyan said, “This is the greatest day of my life. I got the biggest gift from my guru Dasari. I feel extremely happy to produce a film in this enviable combination.”

Nandamuri Bala Krishna said, “This is a combination that is much awaited by the movie lovers and my fans. Dasari is a senior most director in Telugu film industry and I am happy to work in his direction. I had been waiting to do this film for the past two years. And now the film is being started.”

Dasari Narayana Rao said, “I am extremely happy for doing my 150th film with legendary actor, NTR’s son Bala Krishna. I was supposed to direct Bala Krishna’s launch movie. But NTR wanted Bala Krishna to complete his graduation first. Then we also planned Lava Kusa with Bala Krishna, but it didn’t materialize. Only Bala Krishna can do roles that are done by NTR in the past. I made this story long back. Super Star Rajnikanth listened to the outline and wanted to do this movie. But I told him that I will direct it only in Telugu. This movie will be launched on 10 June which happens to be the birthday of Bala Krishna. We are planning to release the movie for 2011 pongal ocassion.”

Apart from wielding the megaphone, Dasari Narayana Rao is producing the film too. Dasari is introducing 81 complete new faces to the Telugu film industry with this film.The film have music by MM Keeravani and the audio has already hit the markets.

Charmi's Sye Aata releasing on May 21st - JustTollywood.com News

Charmi’s heroine-centric flick ‘Sye Aata’ is all set to hit the siver screens on May 21st. The film is a message oriented one and Charmi’s character in the film is the main highlight according to the director. The audio has hit the market and has got good response from the audience.
