Mohanbabu's rally in Tirupati to support Anna Hazare - JustTollywood.com News



Dialogue King Mohanbabu is all set to take out a rally tomorrow on Friday to pledge his support to social activist Anna Hazare who has been fasting at New Delhi against corruption.Support from film industry has been overwhelming for Anna Hazare's fast unto death.Hazare has been demanding the central government to pass the Jan Lokpal bill in the Parliament which will punish the corrupt officials and jail them immediately with time bound investigation on corruption charges against them.Jan Lokpal bill can establish a independant agency that will probe corruption charges and also have powers to interrogate judges and biggest politicians in the country.

However, the central government has drafted another Lokpal bill with no powers to the independant investigating agency. Bollywood star Aamir Khan lent his support to Anna Hazare.Ditto with director Sekhar Kapoor and socialite Shobha De.Tollywood actors Kamal Kamaraju, Murali Mohan, Prakash Raj, singer Anuj Gurwara too pledged their support on social networking sites to Anna's indefinite fast.Meanwhile, Mohanbabu announced that he will take out a rally with the students from his educational institutions Sri Vidyanikethan in Tirupati in support of Anna Hazare.He demanded the government to pass the Janlokpal bill as proposed by Anna Hazare if this country should be saved from corrupt politicians.He earlier took out a huge rally in Tirupati with his students supporting the cause of united Andhra Pradesh movement."Let us support the noble man Anna Hazare in his cause.

Tollywood strike from tomorrow? - JustTollywood.com News



Tollywood which suffered a strike in December last year as employees and producers stopped film shootings are at loggerheads again.AP Film Employees federation has issued strike notice to Telugu film producers' council as they failed to revise their pay this month.AP Film employees federation has been demanding Producers' council to increase their pay since the past three months.In December, when there was a fight between stunt masters that led to major logjam in film industry that led to a strike by employees and producers, employees demanded a pay hike.But producers then assured them a pay hike in March.However, they failed to keep this promise.

AP Film employees federation has served strike notice to Producers' council on April 1st demanding a pay hike failing which they will go on strike from April 8th.Since producers told employees that they will pay them only on the basis of the guidelines issued by South Indian film chamber of commerce,they can't hike the pay now, it looks like another strike is awaited.There is a emergency meeting of Telugu film producers council today, i.e Thursday at AP Film chamber of commerce to discuss the strike notice.If the producers are firm and are not willing to hike their pay, employees won't attend film shootings from Friday.The film industry which suffered huge losses due to 35 day strike in December last year is sure to face major blow if the strike occurs again.

Though Power Star evokes lots of craze among the fans,he was too shy in romantic scenes and would never allow intimate scenes with the heroines.The same situation is continuing though he carried a 15-year long acting career.He was never scenes with any of his heroines in a romantic mood.However, he was forced to face the camera for a lip-lock scene with the heroine for his forthcoming film ‘Teenmaar’ directed by Jayant C Paranji and produced by Ganeshbabu on the banner of Parameswara Arts.Earlier, he asked the director to avoid the scene in the film.However, the scene was quite popular in the original film ‘Love Aaj Kal’ and hence Jayant insisted on the scene particularly. With no option left, Pawan Kalyan gave his nod and smooched the lip of Trisha.

‘Teenmaar’ is expected to go for censor certification on April 8th.The trailers of the film were released the recently and the audio already evoked good response from the audiences.Another interesting feature about the film is that director Jayant had asked Trivikram Srinivas to prepare the script and the latter was so involved in the subject and completed the entire script in just three days’ time. Trivikram Srinivas, who was known for his punch dialogues with a touch of comedy, reportedly penned excellent dialogues for the movie.Let us wait till April 14 to watch how Power Star locked his lips with Trisha and how were the dialogues.

One had to need guts to remake the classics of yesteryears.Though producers like Ramanaidu and Ashwini Dutt had announced that they had ideas to remake films like ‘Paathala Bhairavi, Gundamma Katha and Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari’, they are yet to be translated into actions.The latest information from the Tollywood is that Mohanbabu, who had produced more than 50 films on his own banner is planning to remake the yesteryears’ classic ‘Sahasra Siratchedha Apoorva Chintamani’ and got the title registered with the Film Chamber recently.The original film which was produced in 1960 had several interesting elements like drama, action and romance. SD Lal had directed the original while stalwarts like Kanta Rao, Devika, Rajanala, Gummadi, Girija and others were in the cast.Let us wait and watch how far Mohanbabu would stand by his word and remake the film on the banner of Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures.
