'Aavaham' to hit on April 9 - JustTollywood.com News

It is known that Ram Gopal Varma has been making a sequel to Phoon (Raksha in Telugu). The film, titled Phoonk-2 (Aavaham in Telugu), is almost done with shooting and is in various pre-production stages.
Phoonk's writer Milind Gadagkar approached RGV with a story that the director says, excited him anon. Ram says that while the first part belonged to that category of horror which terrifies the audience by placing the character(s) in utter helpless scenario, the sequel belongs to that category which scares them by creating an hallucination that something unknown is happening around him, with the help of technicality.
So, what is Aavaham (Phoonk-2) going to be? In the second part, the black magician who was killed with the help of a swami, comes from the graveyard and kills the latter. In such a situation, what fate awaits the hero's family? Sudeep, Amritha Kanvilkar, Yehasan Channa, Rishab Jain, Anu Ansari, Ganesh Yadav, Manish Khanna are the key actors. Camera work is by Chandrakanth Vasanth Meher.

Karthi in Tamil's Vikramarkudu - JustTollywood.com News

Vikramarkudu, directed by SS Rajamouli may have been an average grosser at the box office when it was released some years ago, but the same will soon be remade in Tamil. The film will star Karthi as the hero, who will be doing double role.It will be directed by Shiva, the director of action-based Telugu films Sowryam and Shankam, with Gopichand in the lead. To be produced by Studio Green's K Gnanavel Raja, the film will go on the floors in the month of March.
Karthi's popularity has increased in the recent past, especially after the release of his second film Ayarathil Oruvan, though it is doing only an ordinary business in TN.He will be seen in the role of a police officer in the film, which has loads of commercial elements interspersed.Details of other cast and crew are not yet known. It is to be seen if the film fares better than the original version.

The producers of Kedi have planned screening of special premier shows of the film on February 11. The film is slated for a release on February 12 across the world. It is known that Kamakshi Kala Movies sees this as a prestigious movie because it is the production house's first film in its 25th year of existence.
The film casts Naga in a unique role, which the makers promise will be liked by the audience. Also, the film is expected to come up with more number of prints than any of previous Nag's film has seen.
Not only is it technically assisted by talented technicians, it has also got a good ensemble cast. Mamatha Mohandas, Ankur Vikal, Nirmal Pandey, Kelly George and Akhilendra Mishra will be the fresh faces though not new to screen, apart from the commonly seen Sayaji Shindes.
