Arjun & JD under 'Contract'! - JustTollywood.com News

With action hero Arjun and well known actor JD Chakravarthy as male leads, Sameer Productions banner is gearing up to launch a new project titled ‘Contract’ in the month of September. Sameer, who is going to direct the film is also going to produce the film along with taking charge of story and screenplay. Ramachandra Raju is the co-producer and bollywood ace cameraman Jonny Lal takes charge of cinematography.

According to Sameer, the film is said to be an action cum romantic entertainer and will be picturized in many locations of India and abroad. Two heroines who will be playing the lead roles in the film are yet to be finalized.

Aawara completes 100 days - JustTollywood.com News

Karthi’s ‘Aawara’ with Tamanna directed by Lingaswamy of ‘Run’ fame, will complete 100 days at all important centers on August 28th 2010. Karthi has given successive hit even in Telugu after ‘Yuganiki Okkadu’. He has all the essential qualities a Telugu hero has. He is keen on improving his Telugu pronunciation and is eagerly looking to do a straight Telugu film.

Producer KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green thanked the Telugu audience for making ‘Aawara’ a super hit. He thanked the director Lingusamy for making an entertainer and the distributors in AP. He also added that his banner is planning to release two more movies of Karthi which are sure to be a hit with the Telugu audience.

Distributor of ‘Aawara’ in Nizam area for SVR Media said that movie has received good response in Nizam and collections are steady. The distributor thanked the director, Karthi and producer for giving a hit movie. Watch out for 'Aawara'. The journey begins tomorrow!

It is well known that Prakashraj and his love Pony Varma got married a few days back in Mumbai as a private event.On speaking about their love life Pony Varma says “I love Prakash Raj. And I love his children too. When I met Prakash Raj, he was out of his first marriage. I too was single then. What started as friendship slowly matured into love. I know his children very well and I love them a lot.”

Sources say that Prakashraj’s two daughters Pooja and Meghna have attended the wedding reception of their father with Pony Varma and have few photos with both of them. It is note to be mentioned that Prakashraj was earlier married to Lalitha Kumari and also got divorced.

King Nagarjuna’s mass entertainer directed by ‘Bindaas’ fame Veeru Potla is fast completing. The movie’s team says that 30% of the movie is complete. Nagarjuna’s loyalist producer D Sivaprasad Reddy produces this movie on his Sri Kamakshi Enterprises banner. Talking about the bong he has with Nag, Sivaprasad Reddy thanked the hero for the hits he has given to the banner over the years. He also wished Nag a very happy birthday. Nag celebrates his birthday on 29th August.

Nag reciprocated the feelings of his producer. He treated Sivaprasad Reddy’s banner as his own. Talking about the movie, Nag said it is an entertaining movie and director Veeru Potla is doing a good job. Nag added saying he liked Veeru’s work in ‘Bindaas’ and readily accepted to do a movie with him. The new movie is based in Rayalaseema but it is not a faction movie. Nag speaks in a typical Rayalaseema slang in the movie. It will be a non-stop entertainer and Nag hopes to see the movie release in December.

Besides Priyamani and Anushka, there will be another heroine according to Nagarjuna. Director Veeru Potla conveyed acknowledged the producer and Nagarjuna for giving him an opportunity. He said that the movie will be a stylish mass entertainer catering to Nag’s following all sections of the audience. The director further delved in to Nag’s character saying just as how Nag is a simple and cool guy in real life, he plays a cool character in this movie. Veeru went on to add that Nag is enjoying the shoot of the movie.

The director said that the movie has equal doses of action, romance and sentiment. It will be a different movie to Nag, he said. Talking about other characters, Veeru said all characters including Brahmanandam, Dharamavarapu and others have importance.

Pradeep Rawat, Dev Gill, Kota Srinivas Rao, Master Bharath, Sana, Raghu Babu, Supreet, Giridhar and others are part of the cast. Thaman is giving the music for this movie while the director of Photography is Sarvesh Murari with the editor being Marthand K Venkatesh along with fights by Vijay and dance choreographed by Raju Sundaram.
