'Ganga Putrulu' bags a clean U from Censor - JustTollywood.com News

Kishore Basireddy and Ravindrababu are jointly producing a film titled ‘Ganga Putrulu’ directed by A Sunilkumar Reddy. The film had Subba Raju and Gayatri of ‘Happy Days’-fame in the lead roles and the film is based on the lives of fishermen.Several new faces are being introduced to the Tollywood with the movie. The first copy of the movie was ready some time ago and it was submitted for censor certification a few days ago. Sources from the film unit say that the film had bagged clean U certificate from the Censor Board. As per the available information, the film is most likely to be released on January 28. Rao Ramesh, LB Sriram, Rallapalli, Jeeva, Gundu Sudarshan, Kallu Chidambaram are in the cast. Swamy James is the cinematographer.

Ramgopal Varma whose Raktha Charitra-I and II were superhits recently, expressed shock over the murder of Maddelacheruvu Suri in Hyderabad on Monday.Varma's Raktacharitra was based on real life conflict between Paritala Ravi and Suri families in Anantapuram. The movie is still in theatres in several parts of the state and in the mean while Suri was murdered in the city. Varma was baffled by the news and tweeted,"By the time I finished Raktacharitra, the reality became a film for me and now the incident jolted me back into reality. It is shocking to see a person with whom I was interacting for over an year for research of RC, just lying there still and lifeless" Varma tweeted.

Prakash Raj, who is all set to direct a bilingual soon, feels that the script is the real star of any film. “A good script can do magic,” says the actor-producer, whose debut directorial venture ‘Naanu Nanna Kanasu’ (a remake of ‘Aakasamantha’) won rave reviews in Kannada.“I love good scripts. And for my directorial venture, which will be simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil, I am taking extra care to pen the script,” says the producer of ‘Payanam’(Gaganam in Telugu), which will hit the screens soon.

Throwing more light on the yet-to-be titled movie, Prakash Raj says, “It will speak about the current education system in our country.
