'Varudu' satellite rights sold for Rs 3.5 crores! - JustTollywood.com News



Allu Arjun’s ‘Varudu’ is gearing up for its release by the end of the month and the movie has already created hype among the audiences. It is known that IKON Entertainments has earlier bagged the USA, Canada theatrical screening rights and Overseas DVD rights at a record price and now, if the reports are to be believed, the satellite rights of the film were sold at Rs 3.5 crores.

The shooting of the film has been completed except a song. The story is all about a 5 day marriage ceremony and Bhanu Mehra is making her debut as a heroine opposite Allu Arjun. Tamil hero Arya is playing a negative role in the film. The film is directed by Gunashekar and produced by DVV Danayya under the banner ‘Universal Media’ banner’. Mani Sharma has scored the music for the film

Bala Krishna as Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy! - JustTollywood.com News



Bala Krishna will soon be seen enacting the role of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who is the legendary freedom fighter in India. He was born at Uyyalawada in kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh.

Jayanth C Paranji who had directed Lakshmi Narasimha and Allari Pidugu with Bala Krishna is wielding the megaphone of this great rebellion’s life. Apart from directing Jayanth will also produce this film. Bala Krishna who is currently busy with the ‘Simha’ film will do this venture as soon as his Simha completes.

Earlier Chiranjeevi also showed his interest in enacting the same role before entering into politics. However, Bala Krishna has grabbed the role finally which was prepared by Parachuri Brothers. More details of this film are awaited

Devisri to score for Kamal Hassan's big film - JustTollywood.com News



Even as he rules the roost in Tollywood, delivering hit albums after super hit albums, Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in as the music director by KS Ravi Kumar of Kollywood to score tunes for his Kamal Haasan starrer.The film stars Madhavan and Trisha, apart from Kamal. This is the second time Devi is teaming up with Kamal, after Dasavatharam for which he composed background score.

After Maazhai and Aaru, and other hits, Devi is all set to dole out another musical hit in Tamil. It may be noted that the most-sought after Telugu musician is every young, but is creating waves in the biggest South Indian industry.Never the one to spell out his dreams before the media, it seems that he is all set to take Kollywood too by storms in the coming years.

Ragava Lawrence, the Super Cow Boy, is all set to launch his production house in Telugu. The choreographer-turned-actor and director is keen to wield the megaphone for his film, titled Kanchana. The big news is that, produced under the banner Raghavendra Productions, the film will star Anushka as the female lead. Lawrence will cast himself in the role of the male lead, direct and produce it himself!

So, when is Kanchana going on the floors? P Vasu who has directed ‘Aaptha Rakshaka’ film with late Vishnuvardhan in Sandalwood is now planning to remake the film in Telugu and Tamil versions. The film is a sequel to Chandramukhi. Super Star Rajini Kanth has acted in the original version of Chanramukhi in Tamil and Telugu. If reports are to be believed the sequel will cast Mega star Chiranjeevi in the Telugu version while Super Star Rajini in Tamil version.

Blue Sky Cinemas Inc., has bagged the overseas rights of Chandra Siddhartha's message-oriented film Andar Banduvaya. They are joined by the director's own Filmotsav. Starring Sharwanand, Padmapriya, Naresh, Krishna Bagawan, MS Narayana, RK (mama of Hyderabad Nawabs fame) and others, the film sees the male and female leads playing selfless servers of community.

Like his previous ventures, this one is spun around sensitive emotions and human sensibilities, according to the director. As the director feels that Gen N's thoughts are not limited and superficial, and they stretch beyond the purview of "my life and my family", the protagonist here is someone who is universal in his thinking. It is produced by Utopia Entertainments.

Blue Sky hopes to make it big in distribution, as it already hold the DVD rights for Siddharth-starrer Bava.Hope Andari Banduvaya turns out to be truly thought-provoking and mature, as Chandra's films have always been.

The actor's close aides, however, acted in time and tried to retrieve some data, but it was not early.Writing about the same in his blog, a shocked Ram, who is currently working on his film Rama Rama Krishna Krishna, said that it was unfortunate. He is happy, the site is partially restored, and hopes to be back in contact with his blog's visitors and fans.
