Golimaar is inspired from a real life story, where Gopichand will be playing the role of a Maharashtrian police officer. Priyamani is playing the female lead opposite Gopichand in the film. The movie has Nazzer and Roja playing the important roles. The film is being produced by Bellamkonda Suresh.

Balakrishna’s ‘Simha’ is creating a huge pre-release hype across the state. This is creating an added benefit to all the theater owners.Simha’s premiere show screening alone in Gudivada is quoted for Rs.3 lakhs. Earlier, Chiranjeevi’s ‘Tagore’ had set a record for the premiere show which had collected Rs.2.54 lakhs. The latest buzz among the sources is that simha will create a new record.

The premiere show is being screened in ‘Sarath’ theatre which is the biggest one in Gudivada. The movie is being released in four big screens in the city namely Bhaskar 70mm, Bhaskar 35mm, Brahma and Sriram.

Hero siddharth who had watched the film Prasthanam showered praises on the entire team and appreciated director Deva Katta’s work. The actor has given the following feed back for the film.“Prasthanam is the most important film I have seen in the last 5 years. In our industry they tag a movie using stupid words like good, bad, commercial and art but I want to use one apt word like ‘important’ for this movie. After looking at such movies, I feel that our industry is in safe hands atleast for young actors like me. From next time whenever I get a script I know what the base script is to compare with. There has been a standard set, thanks to ‘Prasthanam’ where Deva has raised the bar to next level.

My favorite actor is Saikumar where I always felt that the strength of his acting is his voice. But after watching this film I have realized that his voice is in his total body. Every part of his body speaks as per the character he plays. This can be considered as one of his best performances and not only him, Sharwanand & Sundeep also gave extraordinary performances. Supporting cast is on par to international standards.

Frankly speaking when I came to watch this movie I had zero expectations. Though everyone was praising about this movie I didn’t have any expectations ’cause I believe in my personal judgment. Overall Its an extra ordinary film and looking at this movie , I am damn proud that I am a part of Tollywood. I want to wish all the crew of ‘Prasthanam’ good luck and thank the audience for making such a meaningful movie a big hit.”

Brahmanandam’s son Gautham’s second film ‘Wahre Wah’ under the direction of Kalyan Manthena is progressing at brisk pace. Sambhavi, a new lady is playing the female lead in the movie. The movie is being touted as a youthful family entertainer.

On the occasion, producer of the film Maheswara Rao says, “We began the shooting on 24th April with a song on the lead pair. The song written by Kedarnath was choreographed by Nixon master. The talkie part will begin from May 3rd for about 20 days in the surroundings of Hyderabad followed by Vizag schedule in the month of June.” The film is being produced by Maheswara Rao. The film has music by Mahesh Shankar, lyrics by Veturi and cinematography by Satish Muthyala. Smt Tulasi is presenting the film.

At the same time, I am aware that it’s high time to make some important decisions on my personal life,” the actor was quoted as saying.

He reportedly added: “Very soon, I will marry a girl of my choice. But this will not stop me from discharging my duties as a responsible father.” The actor-producer also said he is eagerly expecting the release of his first directorial venture ‘Naanu Nannu Kanasu’. The film is a Kannada remake of Prakash Raj’s 'Aakasamantha'. “The movie has come out well. I am sure that the film would make it big in Sandalwood because it is a universal theme.”
