'Rajanna' set burnt made 70 lakhs loss - JustTollywood.com News

Nagarjuna’s undershoot film Rajanna is being shot near Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad from the past few days and a huge village set has been erected for the schedule.But accidentally, the set has caught fire and the entire set was burnt completely, which made a loss of 70 lakhs to the producer on Tuesday.The movie is yet to complete few important scenes in the set and it is not yet known if the film-makers go for re-erection of set or goes for an alternative idea.The next schedule of the movie is planned to be canned in Vikarabad.Rajanna is being directed by Vijayendra Prasad and Nagarjuna himself is producing the movie under the banner Annapurna Studios.

It’s raining films from Power star Pawan Kalyan.Before his Teenmaar hits theatres on April 14th, Pawan and director Harish Shankar are right now freaking out to complete the script of Gabbar Singh.Incidentally Gabbar Singh will start as soon as Pawan’s film with Vishnu Vardhan [Tamil Billa fame] at the helm of affairs, The Shadow starts. Pawan for the first time in his career is on signing spree off late.Through out his entire film career he has hardly done back to back two films together.

This is the first time that Pawan will be doing it.Harish Shankar who tasted success with Mirapakai is a big fan of Pawan Kalyan.Ironically Pawan should have worked with him earlier but things didn’t pan out as expected. Kajal Agarwal is tentatively paired opposite Pawan in Gabbar Singh.The film will be made on Pawan Kalyan’s creative works and the makers are planning for a Pongal release next year.

'Virodhi' release in May - JustTollywood.com News

Srikanth and Kamilini Mukherji starrer 'Virodhi' will hit the screens in May. Srikanth's brother Meka Anil is the producer of this film. "A violent Indian story' has been finalised as the tagline for this flick. Neelakanta is the director for this movie and R P Patnaik is the music composer. Apparently this socio-political film is a story based on Naxalism and its impact of relationship between two people. Srikanth plays the role of a Journalist in this thriller.

Ajay, Shivajiraja, Kamal Kamaraju, Aahuti Prasad et al play roles in the film.."We are busy with post-production work now.Most of this film was shot in outdoor locations. The music has come out well. The director Neelakanta did a good job and since his pre-production work was well planned, we shot the movie in less number of days. We will release this film in May" Anil Meka informed.Srikanth is acting in about four films now.
