However, a program aired by a channel has irked him that he filed a complaint on that channel for making derogatory comments against him. Immediately Ram Gopal Varma was in news and all the TV channels ran after him to respond on it. Interestingly, that channel which has aired the program is question has called upon him for a talk show.

Ram Gopal Varma readily accepted to have a go at them sitting in their studio.While speaking on this occasion Ram Gopal Varma said that he may make Appalaraju sequel and rectify the mistakes done in part 1. “Antham is a flop and I made Satya on the same lines. It is hit. If Deyyam flopped I’ve bettered it in Bhoot. So why not, I may do Appalaraju 2 to settle the scores,” he said.

The reason behind it is said to be his idea to capture her body curves and shapes on camera, in order to highlight them in his 5 day long record project 'Dongala Muta'.According to sources, on the advice of actor Ravi Teja,Ram Gopal Varma went to a limit of capturing Charmi's bosom from top angle and thighs and buttocks from down angle.
