Namitha is playing the lead role in ‘Love College’ directed by Jayasimha Reddy and produced by Raviteja Reddy on the banner of Jayasimha Pictures is busy shooting without any interruption.This film with love, entertainment and action in its backdrop had completed some talkie part besides canning of four songs.Speaking on the occasion, the director says, ‘The story revolves around the life of a yoga teacher, who moulded the lives of four vagabond youth in a great way.

It is a different love subject too. In one way it is a spicy movie with a touch of love, romance and sentiment.The action scenes choreographed by Thriller Manju would attract the audiences. We are planning the final schedule in the last week of January. Two more songs and the climax scenes would be completed in the final schedule. We are planning to launch the audio in the second half of February.’Namitha,Prudhvi, Sobhana, Kavitha, D Srikanth and others are in the cast. Presently DTS mixing works are in progress.Director says, ‘Our earlier film with Charmi ‘Mantra’ was a thriller. We are making yet another attempt to frighten the audiences in ‘Mangala’ with the same heroine.

The performance of Charmi would remain a highlight and it is an asset for our film. Tarun’s new film titled Yuddam was launched today at Ramanaidu Studios. While director Dasari Narayana Rao tapped the clap board for the initial shot of the film, Producer Ramanaidu switched on the camera. Being directed by Bharati Ganesh and produced by Natti Kumar under the banner Visaka Talkies, the film casts Srihari in another powerful and important role and Yami, a new lady as female lead.

Director Bharati Ganesh informs that Yuddam is a youthful love entertainer and the film also showcases a battle between a powerful mass leader and a student leader. Yuddam will wrap up its first schedule, five days from today. The rest of the two schedules will be shot in February and April months and the final film will reach the big screens in April.

Still photographer Satish alias Mohammad Shafi passed away due to heart attack in his native village Bandar at 5 pm on Tuesday.He is 43 and is survived by his wife and two sons. Satish entered the film industry at an early age and started his career as cinema still photographer. Later, he took up photo journalist career and worked for popular publications like ‘Udayam, Sivaranjani, Megha Sandesam, Number One, Cine Star, Trade Guide and other such magazines as photographer.Several top heroes of the present generation got their photographs shot by him in their early days of career.

Satish is a close associate to Darsaka Ratna Dr Dasari Narayana Rao, Krishnamraju and Prabhas and their families.He is friendly with every one and never get into any kind of disputes. The entire Telugu film industry in general and the film photographers in particular shocked at the hearing of the news.Satish was the founder of AP Cine Still Photographers Association and he was instrumental in forming the association, said general secretary M Ravi and president Bhadram in a press release.
