Rami Reddy has acted in the movie Guruvaram as Shirdi Sai baba under the Nityasri banner directed by music director Vigna Vinayak.The audio of the movie has been released on Monday at Prasad Labs Preview theater by Hero Sri hari and was handed over to Producer Natti Kumar and wished the movie success. Director Vigna Vinayak who gave the music for the movie said that lot of people feared his decision of taking Rami reddy in the character of Sai baba but that was proved wrong by the action of him and expressed his confidence over the move success. Actor Ramoji,Hanumantharao,Babu Mohan and others were present at the release.

Pratap had been diagnosed with chronic leukemia and breathed his last after fighting with the fatal disease for many years.VR Pratap made his directorial debut with Nuvvu Vasthavani movie which was a huge hit. He has the credit of introducing Jr. NTR as the hero. NTR did Ninnu Chudalani movie under Pratap’s direction. Pratap also directed a film titled Naalo Unna Prema with Jagapathi Babu, Laya and Gajala as the leads. His last film was Gorintaku starring Rajasekhar and Meera Jasmine which was a good hit. After that Pratap didn’t do any films due to illness.
