Maverick film maker Ramgopal Varma sent legal notices to TV9 for tele casting a defamatory programme on him.The show titled 'Ram Dhamaal Varma' was telecast on TV9 at 7PM on Wednesday.The one hour show which also had critics on the panel lash out at Varma and his wierd antics and his flop show with Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appala Raju, bisected his career.This well edited and fabulously written story was widely watched across the state. TV9 executive editor Arun Sagar lent his voice to this story.The show called Varma a semi intellectual and a half mad person masquerading himself as an ace director.

This one hour dressing down of Varma didn't go well with him. He took offense to this show and sent legal notices to TV9 for defaming him.Ramgopal Varma released a press statement confirming his legal proceedings against the channel."With regard to an extremely derogatory programme done by TV 9 on me titled ‘Ram Dhamaal Varma’ where they have attributed many false quotes to me, of which one example is ‘prekshakulu verri vedhavalu’, I am hereby informing that I am initiating criminal action against TV 9 for defamation with a criminal intent.

Star heroine Deepika Padukone is all set to shake her legs with Pawan Kalyan in his forthcoming flick ‘Teenmaar’ directed by Jayant C Paranji and produced by Ganeshbabu on the banner of Parameswara Arts.The film had completed the shooting of the talkie part and only three songs remained balance to be choreographed for the flick. One among them would be shot in a specially erected set in Hyderabad, while the other two would be shot abroad.Jayant had good relations with Deepika Padukone and got her to do a special song in ‘Love Aaj Kal’ in Telugu earlier.

However, the flick failed to see the light.As Pawan Kalyan also accepted his wish, the director convinced Deepika to do a special song for this film also. Though Deepika wanted to enter the Tollywood as heroine, the remuneration she was expecting turned a bane as the Telugu producers can’t offer her such a big money.However, her entry through this song may help her bag offers in Telugu in the forthcoming days.
