According to sources, the censor authorities went through the movie reels and found action scenes unsuitable for children. Therefore the Regional Censor Board certified the movie with A with small cuts.
'Puli' is slated to release on September 9th. After solving their legal troubles, the producers, Kanakarathna Movies, will release the movie soon.
