Actress Jeevitha and her actor husband Dr Rajasekhar have been served a final notice by the city police to pay dues amounting to Rs 1 lakh for the protection they were given.The actor couple was given two personal security officers to guard them,but as is the practice,they have to pay a ‘user fee’ for the protection.The city security wing has sent them 12 notices to pay the pending fee,which they have ignored.The city security wing deputy commissioner of police, Mr R B Nayak, told this correspondent that the exact dues amount to Rs 91,508.The actor couple was provided protection after they alleged they were getting threats from the fans of actor-politician Chiranjeevi.As they had campaigned for the Congress in the 2009 polls. Jeevitha was unavailable for comment.Frankly speaking is it necessary for protection to this pair?

Ashwinidutt plans a grand release of 'Shakthi' - JustTollywood.com News

Ashwini Dutt is planning to release his magnum opus ‘Shakthi’, the highest budgeted film of the Telugu film industry so far, with NTR and Ileana in the lead and directed by Meher Ramesh on the banner of Vyjayanti Movies, in a very grand manner.The film is being dubbed into Tamil as well and would be released simultaneously in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.The Tamil version would have 200 prints exclusively for Kerala.The Telugu version would hit the screens with over 1,000 prints across the state and the producer is planning to cash in on the grand opening day’s collections.

As per indications, the producer is planning to grab at least 25 crores during the first week of its release.It is learnt that the film would be released in over 225 theatres in Nizam area alone.Ashwini Dutt is planning to release in as many number of theatres in each centre and collect more revenue at any cost.Let us wait and watch whether Shakthi would fall flat after the opening week,or sustain and create more and more records in Tollywood.

Police hunting for Sirish Bharadwaj? - JustTollywood.com News

Police are likely to arrest Sirish Bharadwaj, the husband of Srija, against whom the latter had complained of harassment a couple of days back. Following the complaint by Srija,daughter of actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi,Central Crime Station (CCS) sleuths are in the process of gathering evidence against Sirish and his mother,G R Suryamani. Police are collecting the SMSes and mails sent by Srija to her parents about the harassment meted out to her by Sirish in the last few days after recording the victim’s statement on Tuesday.

The CCS sleuths are also likely to collect the medical bills that were paid when Srija had to undergo medication after she was hit to a wall by her in-laws. Sources said the CCS sleuths have not yet questioned or taken Sirish into their custody. It is learnt that Sirish was not available at his house and police are on a hunt to nab him.Though police officials did not confirm,Sirish’s mother was reportedly taken into custody for questioning.Based on a complaint by Srija, the CCS sleuths registered a case under 498-a and Dowry Prohibition Act against Sirish and his mother and are investigating the case.
