Apart from Maaro, actor Nitin's another release is Sitharamula Kalyanam.. Lankalo. Made on the banner of Welfare Creations, the film has story by Vikram Raj. Apart from the storyline, the interactions and scenes between the hero and heroine will be the highlight, producer Vijay Prasad said.
Currently, the film is being exclusively shot in a studio and soon the unit will whizz off to Visakhapatnam to picturise another song. The producers are planning to release the film in the first week of December. Salim Panda and Suman are playing key roles in the film.Apart from these cast, Brahmanandam, Ali, MS Narayana, Venu Madhav, Chandra Mohan, Subbaraju, Jeeva, Duvvasi Mohan, 'Satyam' Rajesh, 'Ranam' Venu are also seen.
Thota Prasad is writing dialogue along with Vikram Raj, who is also the story-writer. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor.

Politico-actor-director-writer Posani Krishnamurali's endeavors are eerie, if not outright, ludicrous. A few months back, he released Mental Krishna and claimed to release Gali Seenu in succession. If he called Mental Krishna a film that was coming with a message, and worse, that it was a film the women would enjoy watching (!!!), he is repeating the same claim for his forthcoming film Gentleman.
We cannot comment on the film until we actually watch it; so we can hope to see something sensible in this film. And yes, Posani explores the husband-wife relationship in the film. Interesting twist: he plays a software engineer. At this age? He must be a project leader. But, do not be surprised even if he is seen as a fresher! None can predict what Posani is upto, nowadays.
The director is saying that his new film tells us that for a woman, her behavior and traits are the hallmarks of her chastity. "The film has all the ingredients that women audience can appreciate," Krishnamurali said. The film has Aarthi Agarwal playing his wife. Jitin, Nagababu, Kota Sreenivasarao are playing other characters.

The bilingual in Tamil and Telugu ‘Payanam’ involving Rs.11 crores budget is the next venture from Duet Movies. “Payanam is the most expensive film of my banner”, disclosed Prakash Raj speaking to a few journalists after the launch of his maiden Kannada directorial venture ‘Naanu Nanna Kanasu’ on Saturday evening.
The script for this is inspired from Kandahar Hijack. Prakash Raj has gone through ‘Flight to Fear’ book and contacted two families in Tiruchi who were on board during the Kandahar Hijack. Prakash Raj has added lot of human emotions in this film. 15 minutes after the take off the flight from Chennai the hijack drama starts and it is forced to land in Thirupathi airport. As the major portion of the film is done in the Thirupathi Airport and special permissions are not that easy he has decided to erect Thirupathi Airport set at Ramoji Rao film city, say the sources. Prakash Raj plays the role of an official from Prime Minister Office in ‘Payanam’.

'Idiots' give injury to Madhavan - JustTollywood.com News

A knee injury that occurred eight months ago has now made Madhavan to be on rest. The actor, on the advice of his physician and physiotherapist, is on complete rest in his Mumbai apartment spending time with wife and son.
“I lost balance when I was shooting for ‘3 Idiots’ before eight months. Though I had pain in knee, I didn’t get any proper treatment as I felt it would be okay in some time. But it is paining a lot these days and I am even unable to walk,” he says.Saying that the doctor and physiotherapist he had consulted asked him to be on rest, the actor says he is following it with all sincerity. “Because, I want my knee back in old condition.”
Madhavan says the break is helping him otherwise. He is spending quality time with son Vedanth and wife Saritha, which would not be possible without the “help” of injury. That’s what we call blessing in disguise.

It took time for people to understand that television and film industries can co-exist without facing competition from each other. Gone are the days when television was considered as a threat by film industry,” said Kamal Hassan.
He was speaking at the launch of ‘Abirami’, a television serial, in Chennai on Monday. Produced by Abirami Mega Mall for Kalaignar TV, the mega serial has Gowthami playing the lead role.
“Both (television and film industry) share a brotherly relationship. Some actors perform in films and serials with ease, while some bid adieu to movies to act in television. But competition never existed between us,” he said.
According to Gowthami, the serial would be different from the rest as it is backed by a strong storyline. “Many veterans are part of the team I am sure ‘Abirami’ would have a positive impact on people,” she said. The serial also has Kalpana in a pivotal role.
