Music director Anil died - JustTollywood.com News



Music director Anil has passed away on Friday in Hyderabad due to massive heart attack.He was just 33 year old and has suffered from sudden cardiac attack by time they reached the hospital he breathed his last.He had composed music for movies like Gamyam, Ninna Nedu Repu, Sambhavami Yugeyuge and LBW etc.He also worked on giving different tunes for the movie Kalavar King.

Anil did his Engineering from Vasavi College of Engineering and MBA in Belgium.He started career in music for a music company in Belgium Michelle and has been back into Tollywood after getting trained in few tricks in music.He has launched his own music album with music director Mickey J Meyer.Anil was scheduled to get married in the month of May.This is a big loss to Telugu film industry as a promising and upcoming music director left us.We from Justtollywood.com express our condolences to the bereaved family.

'Mirapakai' completes 100 days - JustTollywood.com News



Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Mirapakai movie completed 100 days of run. The film got release on 13, January, 2011 and has successfully completed the century run even by facing tough competition.Mirapakai is directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Ramesh Puppala under Yellow Flowers Banner.The film features Richa Gangopadhaya and Deeksha Seth in the lead roles.A 100 day celebration function is expected to be arranged by the film producer Ramesh Puppala very soon and an official announcement is gong to be made regarding this in near future.

The entire unit of Mirapakai is very happy with the results and the hero of the film Ravi Teja has thanked director Harish Shankar for giving him such a wonderful offer in Mirapakai.Mirapakai made record collections in many regions and also has set all time high records in few places.Director Harish Shankar is planning to direct another film with Ravi Teja titled Subramaniam for Sale after Gabbar Singh with Pawan Kalyan gets completed.

Tollywood strike called off - JustTollywood.com News



With differences among different unions in AP Film employees federation union, most employees called off the ongoing Tollywood strike.The shootings will resume from Friday asusual.AP Film employees federation had called for a strike ten days ago demanding a pay hike.All the shootings across the country have come to a standstill due to the strike. Industry suffered severe losses due to the strike.Telugu film producers council held talks with Film employees.There are 24 employee unions under the federation of whom 17 unions agreed for 32 per cent pay hike.

But the rest of them demanded 60 percent.They claimed that since pay revision happens once in three years, it is imperative to have a 60 per cent hike.However, producers refused to give them that high pay hikes.Since 17 unions agreed for 32 per cent hike, they called off the strike.With majority of the unions taking part in the strike, the rest too gave up and agreed for whatever hike producers want to give them.With shootings all set to start again, Tollywood producers, directors and actors are happy and expressed their satisifaction.

Rajeev Kanakala and Sindhu Thulani starrer film 'Poison' is all set to hit the screens on April 30th. Prabhudeva's brother Nagendra Prasad plays important charecter in this flick. Phaniraj debutes as director with this movie. D Ramesh Babu is producing this project on his Joshika Sailakshmi films banner. Mumait Khan played a very key role in this film and also performed an item number to enthrall the audience.

Vijay Samrat, Suhasini, AVS, Dharmavarapu Subramaniam, M S Narayana, Srinivas Reddy, Geeta Singh, Shankar Melkote et al are seen in this movie. M M Sreelekha composed music for this thriller."
