The talented director of Tollywood Deva Katta is known for his critically praised films like Vennela and Prasthanam.Now, the director is busy in scouting locations in and around Vijayawada for his next film titled Autonagar Surya. Naga Chaitanya has been finalized to play the lead and the title role in the film.As earlier informed Autonagar Surya is being made with the backdrop of Vijayawada rowdyism. Samantha might play the female lead in the film but the makers haven’t yet confirmed the news. Autonagar Surya will be produced by Venkat under his R R Movie Makers banner. The movie is gearing up to hit the floors in this early summer.

Debutant Venu Sriram will handle the megaphone for the film and Dil Raju is producing it on Sri Venkateshwara Creations banner.Venu Sriram has earlier worked in direction department in Dil Raju’s films.O My Friend is Siddharth’s second film with Dil Raju after the mega hit Bommarillu and also his second flick with Shruti Haasan after the recently released film Anaganaga O Dheerudu.As the title says, the movie is said to be based on the value of friendship.
