Meera Jasmine in spooky Moksha - JustTollywood.com News



She may look like girl-next-door in ordinary roles, but in her forthcoming film Moksha, Meera Jasmine is gearing to scare the daylights out of us. The Malayalam actress, who made a mark in Telugu with films like Ammayi Bagundi and Badra, is currently acting in horror genre, in a film titled Moksha.

The film is directed by Srikanth Vemula, who promises a scary potboiler. The film will have significant graphics and boasts of a good story. It is done with almost 80% of the shooting at the Ramoji Film City. "Evey scene will be exciting," says Srikanth.

Come next month, the climax scenes and the songs will be filmed in Chennai. P Amarnath's Amarnathan Movies is producing it in which Nasser and Rahul Dev will be seen (in fact, these two character artistes are learnt to be the 'male leads', along with Rajeev Menon). Nasser, Rahul Dev, Rajya Lakshmi and others are also part of the cast. Srikanth has also written the story and screenplay.

Comedy actor-turned-producer AVS is all well with Kothimuka. The film is proceeding at a brisk pace in Hyderabad. He is filming some scenes on Krishnudu, Shraddha arya and Uttej, the main leads.The film will be completed by April, with the exception of two songs. AVS has written the story and screenplay.

Venkat Jagadeesh is producing the movie under the banner Tulasi Poojitha Films. So, many years after AVS debuted as producer with Tarun-starrer Uncle, which was a super flop, he is turning director this year. He has roped in Mani Sharma as the music director. Kothimooka will have loads of comedy, which will be taken care by Brahmanandam, Ali, Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Harshawardhan, Venu Madhav and others. Hope AVS becomes successful in the second innings, after a brief sabbatical owing to ill-health in the last two years.

Dialogue is by Janardhan Maharshi. Bhaskarabatla and Jogayya Sastry are the lyricists. The producer says that AVS has got a good story in his hands, and the film's two big strengths are its director and dialogue-writer.The film is slated for a release in May.

Starring Navdeep and herself, in the role of an air hostess, the film is directed by PA Arun Prasad, who debuted with Gautham SSC.Releasing on March 19, the film boasts of an interesting storyline. For Navdeep, the film is important because he has not had a decent box office farer since his debut movie. The charming actor is said to be seen in a distinct character.

In fact, going by the stills, Navdeep seems to have an off colour look in the film. The thrill factor is also promised. Set in Bangkok, the film is presented by Bhumika's Down town Films.The film has been in the making for more than a year. Though it was expected to hit the marquee sometime in December, it has seen undue delays.Let's hope the film fares well at the box office, as it has seen the light of the day, finally.

Sushanth, a young star related to the Akkineni family, is looking for a grand success. After his not-so-successful Kalidas and Current, he wants to settle for no lesser than smash hit. At the birthday bash on Thursday, he spoke to the media and said that a new film with him as the lead is on the anvil.

Saying that the film will have loads of entertainment, he said that ever since the release of Ye Maya Chesave, in which his cousin Nag Chaitanya starred, he has been receiving queries about his next film.Sri Nag Corporation, owned by Chintalapudi Srinivas, will produce the next film of Sushanth too. A film with Nagarjuna is on the cards, too. Mr. Srinivas said that story discussions are taking place currently.

After the failure of Current, Sushanth has not okayed any film. He is understandably making the right moves, so his career is not scuttled.So, this year, we can expect an effort by Sushanth to deliver a mass hit and that of Sri Nag Corp to finally produce a big ticket release.

I also learnt that the role of villain in the movie Sarkar was played by a fitness trainer. That is Varma. I really like his practical approach and clarity of thought.”

“Raktha Charitra is giving me life time experience. I became big fan of RGV. And we are shooting every scene in three languages Telugu, Hindi and Tamil. So it’s a new experience all together,” he further added.Rakta Chaitra is being made trilingually and it has two parts ‘Rakta Charitra 1′ and ‘Rakta Charitra 2′. Krishnudu of ‘Vinayakudu’ fame is getting ready with another full-length comedy film titled as ‘Amayakudu’. Poonam Singar is playing the female lead in the film. The film is being touted as a comedy entertainer.

Amaykudu is being directed by Bharathi Ganesh and is being produced by Balamurugan, Anil Nair and Sudarshan Kumar. The banner ‘Five Fingers Entertainment’ is producing a film titled as ‘Eight’ which will be directed by 8 directors. The movie is said to be a distinct film which has eight stories in it and now, these eight stories will be directed by eight directors. The film is being produced by Jalandhar.

The movie has 11 male leads and 5 female leads in the film and the film is touted as a suspense thriller. Eight was launched grandly on Wednesday at Hyderabad. State Minister DK Aruna has sounded the clap board for the first shot and MLA Narsa Reddy switched the camera. Other details of the film are awaited.
