Venky, Mahesh film from December - JustTollywood.com News

Here is some earth - shaking news. Tollywood's first big-ticket multi-starrer will go on the floors from December. The project that was conceived a year ago by Dil Raju and an idea that had taken shape many more years ago in Srikanth Addala's mind, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, is now a reality. The film was earlier said to have Pawan and Venky playing the leads. However, things have not turned out as planned and now Mahesh has stepped into Pawan's shoes. He will play Venky's younger brother in the movie. Touted to be a romantic comedy, the film has become a sensational idea to begin with, even before it has gone on the sets. Which is not surprising given the stature of the two leads.

It may well turn out to be the biggest venture and the most-awaited film. While Venkatesh is a natural when it comes to donning the greasepaint for light - veined roles, Mahesh is a virutouso performer when it comes to romantic roles. Srikanth Addala may not be a star director himself, but with a choosy producer like Dil Raju approving his idea, you can expect a sure dose of entertainment.

Gautham Menon finalizes film with Ram - JustTollywood.com News

Ram has struck gold again and how. Close on the heels of a hit, Lady Luck has chosen Ram one more time. He will play the lead role in Gautham Menon's forthcoming film. Now, this is old news. What's new is that, the film's music will be composed by AR Rahman. It may be noted that the film was threateningly on hold because of Ram's rumoured problems with Bellamkonda Suresh, who was to produce this movie. However, with Gautham Menon himself now choosing to produce the movie, Ram has apparently found no problem in being part of the venture..

This is a big time offer for Ram, who is accepted in action roles as well as he is liked in chocolate boy acts. On Menon's part, the ace director has proved himself with a cop story like Gharshana (Venkatesh) and a romantic film like Ye Maya Chesave (Nag Chaitanya). The film with Ram in the lead and Gautham directing him will definitely be eagerly watched out for by the audience. If it becomes a hit, it will raise the curtain for more Kollywoodian trysts with Telugu stars. The Tamil version will be made with Jiiva in the lead.
