Boyapati Srinu, who delivered hits like Bhadra ( RaviTeja) and Tulasi ( Venkatesh) has saved Balakrishna from falling to lower depths with Simha.
Balakrishna is professor Sreemannarayana who is being tried by his pretty female colleague (Namita) and a student Janaki (Sneha Ullal) whom he saves from goons. Janaki runs away from her home because she is forced to marry her own brother's killer. Meanwhile, the killer from Vizag takes away Janaki from
Sreemannarayana amidst a long chase and fight where his grand mother (K.R.Vijaya) is stabbed by Janaki's father ( Rehman), and then the story takes us back to a violent episode that happened three decades ago.
Namita has to watch her skin show as it was horrible. Nayantara has a small role, but she looks good on screen though dressed heavily.Sneha Ullal gives a decent performance.Comedians Krishna Bhagavan, Brahmanandam and Venu Madhav wasted in the film.
Chakri's music is ok. Wilson's camera angles are superb especially for the action episodes in the film.
Plus Points : Balakrishna's performance is powerful in the
flash back episode. The role looked settled with his neat performance.There are some good dialogues which generated good response from the Audience. “Oka Pakkey Choodu … rendo Pakka Choodataniki try Cheyyodhu Maadi pothaav” “Ara Nimisham lo Chacchevaadivi Nee address naa Kendukura a”
“Charitra Raayalanna dhaanini Thiraga Raayalanna adhi mavalley sadhyamavuthundhi” B and C centers will love to watch this movie, for A centers its better and good then hero's earlier flicks. Music by Chakri is Average. The Direction is good in Parts. The production values are rich.
Minus Points: Brahmanandam and Jhansi's track. Wrong song placement. Over dose of violence. Over all its a relief for Balayya.
