Will Samantha's craze alone work? - JustTollywood.com News



Right from the debut film, Samantha has become the hot actress of Tollywood. Her two films did well at the box-office and this beautiful actress has gained lots of craze with two distinct roles in her past two films. The actress is currently busy in the shooting of ‘Dookudu’ with Mahesh and she also has a film with Pawan Kalyan in the pipeline.

Cashing this, the distributors are buying the rights of a Tamil film which has Samantha as a female lead. Samantha’s debut flick in Tamil, titled Baana Kaathadi is being dubbed into Telugu. Though the film was a disaster in Tamil, the makers are releasing it seeing the craze of the actress in Tollywood. It is titled as ‘Kurralloy Kurralloy’ and is slated for a release in December.

Kamal Haasan concerned over declining growth of film industry - JustTollywood.com News



Kamal, also the Chairman of Media and Entertainment Business Conclave (MEBC) of FICCI, said the growth of the Rs.60,000-crore cine industry has come down from 18 percent to 14 percent in recent years. He, however, disagreed with the view that sky-rocketing fees of stars is one of the reasons for the downfall of the industry. “We tried to cap the rates of remuneration. But the remuneration is determined by the demand for a particular actor,” he said at a press conference here.

With the banks willing to pump in money, the actor feels the industry would regain its glory. A two-day MEBC conclave will begin here Dec 1 and issues related to media including raising production costs will be discussed here along with the solution to challenges faced by the industry across the nation.

To be inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K. Rosaiah, the event will showcase the huge potential for developing the Indian entertainment market in South India with a view to forging global linkages. “During the conclave, delegates will be exposed to global and Indian developments with regard to trends and opportunities in the entertainment industry, business possibilities and regulatory regimes in different countries,” he said.

About 800 media and entertainment business people from India and overseas, along with officials of the Andhra Pradesh and the central governments, will participate in the business event in a bid to deliberate on issues confronting the industry. The conclave will cover the entire gamut of media and entertainment like films, broadcast (TV and radio), digital entertainment, animation, gaming and visual effects.

Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Ambika Soni, Bollywood filmmaker Yash Chopra – chairman of FICCI Entertainment Committee; Karan Johar who is the co-chairman of the FICCI Entertainment Committee; Subhash Chandra, chairman of Zee Group; Uday Shankar – CEO of Star India Private Limited and Kamal Haasan will address the meet. Kamal said the MEBC effort has united the film industry and the Hyderabad initiative will help Telugu film industry to get its due recognition

Officially Announcement of Orange - JustTollywood.com News



As was already feared over the possible postponement of Ram Charan Teja’s latest film Orange, the producer today officially announced that the release was put off by a week and the film is likely to be released on November 26 across the world. It is learnt that there is a delay in some of the Digital Intermediate and CG works for the film and these technical snags had forced them to postpone the release of the film.

However, the producer of the film Nagababu expressed his satisfaction that the film came out extremely well and the audio already created ripples and remained a chart-buster among all the audio albums. He predicted that the overwhelming response for the audio boosted their confidence on the success of the film.

Rakta Charitra 2 release postponed once again - JustTollywood.com News



The controversial film directed by Ram Gopal Varma, ‘Rakta Charitra’ had hit the screen recently and made a handsome business. It is also running successfully in different areas of the state. As the story of the film is quite lengthy, the director had decided to release the film in two parts and the second part was expected to be released in November. This is because the audiences could still recollect the earlier story and would rush to the theaters for the Rakta Charitra 2 .

However, the distributors and producer C Kalyan appealed to the director to postpone it further as the first version is still running with packed theaters in some areas. Succumbing to their pressure, the release was postponed once and the director announced the latest release date as November 19.

However, the release was put off till December 3 due to some other reasons. The producers claim that they need some more time to promote their film through trailers and other such activities to make it more interesting and attractive. Will the director agree for yet another postponement and release the film on December 3 or stick to his word for an early release had to be seen.

Tapsee's tweets embarrass Prabhas, Dil Raju - JustTollywood.com News



The forthcoming flick of Prabhas, produced by Dil Raju, with Kajal Agarwal and Tapsee in the female leads, is getting ready for release as a Sankranti gift. Dasarath is directing the film and the film is being made with a working title ‘Mr Perfect’.

In all probabilities, the director and producer may confirm the same as the title of the movie. However, the title is in a controversy as it was already registered in the Film Chamber by some other producer. In order to avoid last minute legal wrangles, Dil Raju is holding talks with the other producer to leave the title for them and the problem is yet to be resolved.

Meanwhile, one of the heroines Tapsee, in a post in Twitter, leaked that her film with Prabhas, was titled as ‘Mr Perfect’. This tweet caused embarrassment to the hero and the producer as they are yet to officially announce their title after the completion of talks and acquiring full rights on it from the other producer.

Merupu, a story on match - fixing in football - JustTollywood.com News



With the completion of shooting of ‘Orange’, Ram Charan now has to concentrate on his next film ‘Merupu’ under the direction of Dharani. The hero is playing the role of a football player, who struggles hard to earn recognition to the Indian team, as the Indian football team is ranked well below the mark in international arena. It is worth mentioning here that his father Chiranjeevi also played the role of a goal - keeper in a football match in ‘Vijetha’.

However, in the latest film of Ram Charan, there is a twist and the director wanted to explain and debate in detail, the politics in the game and selection of players, besides the match-fixings that occur in football matches.

Kajal Agarwal is pairing up with Ram Charan in this flick, while Devisri Prasad would score music for this film. The first schedule of the film was completed some time ago and the unit is gearing up to launch its second schedule in the last week of November.
