Mass Raja Ravi Teja is all set to team up with cinematographer turned director Siva for a new film. Siva has earlier directed Souryam, Sankham with Gopichand and has hit the jackpot by directing the remake of Vikramarkudu with Karthi in Kollywood.Ravi Teja is said to have given a green signal to Siva and the film will start rolling its camera from August. Burugupalli Siva Ramakrishna will produce the film, which is touted as a mass entertainer.Other details of the cast and crew are awaited.As of now, Ravi Teja is gearing up to start the shoot of his next film Nippu in Gunasekhar’s direction and in Y V S Chowdary’s production.

Versatile star Vikram has been conferred honorary doctorate by a University in Italy for his excellence in acting. Universita Popolare Degli Studi Di Milano (UUPN) which is popularly known as People's University in Milan has conferred the doctorate of fine arts in acting to Chiyan Vikram. Vikram is supposedly the first ever Indian actor to have recieved the doctorate from a European university for their contribution to cinema. The star recieved the doctorate in the presence of delegates from China and West Africa in a ceremony on Sunday.Vikram addressed the gathering and received the honour. Prof Dr Marco Grapecia who is the President of the university, members of the planning commission of China and special invitees were present at the ceremony.The star will be back in India in the first week of June.He is currently busy promoting his film Deiva Thirumagan which is releasing in Telugu as 'Nanna'. It stars Anushka in the lead role.

Hero Rajasekhar met with an accident on the sets of his movie 'Mahankali' on Monday. He was rushed to Apollo Hospitals in Chennai. He suffered minor injuries to his hands and forehead.The shooting mishap is believed to have occured while picturising an action sequence in the outskirts of Chennai. Rajasekhar will be seen as a tough police officer in this action flick while Madhurima is the heroine.Karthikeya is the director of the movie. Doctors have reportedly suggested a bed rest of 25 days to Rajasekhar.

Says Rajini Babu, who has released on the internet a photograph of he and his friends standing in front of the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, where the Superstar is admitted, “We saw Thalaivar and even had an opportunity to talk to his wife and daughter.”“As soon as we came to know that Thalaivar is coming to Singapore for rest and treatment, we rushed to the airport to see him.

But he was taken out through a different exit,” he says. Rajini Babu adds: “Determined to have a glimpse of Thalaivar, we somehow managed to gain entry into the hospital where we saw Rajini taking rest in a special ward (Royal Suite). He was seen with a little beard. “When we tried to take photographs, Thalaivar’s wife Latha and daughter Soundarya Ashwin came out and requested us not to do so and assured that Thalaivar is fine and will return India soon.”
