No Shooting in Hyderabad until issues resolved?? - JustTollywood.com News



Representatives from AP Filmchamber, Telugu film producers' council, Movie artistes' association(MAA) and 24 craft associations decided to halt all film shootings in Hyderabad until all the issues concerning the Telugu film industry are resolved. After the attack of fighters from Telugu film industry on fight artistes from Chennai on the sets of 'Kandireega' on Wednesday, industry personalities decided to meet on Thursday and resolve all disputes within themselves. But since MAA and Producers council wanted to discuss other problems like increasing budgets and star remunerations, the meeting on Thursday was not fruitful.

It was decided by representatives of all the 24 crafts in Tollywood to therefore halt all film shootings being held in Hyderabad inorder to enable the artistes to attend the meeting.A meeting of Producers' council, Film Chamber of commerce, Movie artistes' association will be held with all the other associations to resolve all issues and enable peaceful conduct of film shootings in the city hereafter. Sources say the concerns of local artistes' losing out work to Tamil artistes' will be the main agenda of the meeting.

Film chamber representatives however clarified that it was decided to halt film shootings of Telugu movies being held in Hyderabad only and not other parts of the state or country."The film laboratories and theatres can continue their work too as they don't fall under the 24 crats category. This will also avoid trouble to movies like 'Ragada' which are in post production work. " said a representative from AP Film Chamber of Commerce.
