Speaking on the occasion, Vkram says, "This is a story that revolves around a father and a son. I am playing the role a mentally challenged person called 'Krishna'. This is different role than all character I played so far in my career. I am sure that the character would remain a milestone in my career. I did homework for about one and a half months for the character and reduced by weight by about 12 kg. Definitely the role would leave an indelible mark in the minds of audiences."
