Mr Sisindri to play in CCL matches? - JustTollywood.com News
King Akkineni Nagarjuna's elder son Nagachaitanya is busy shooting for films while his younger son Akhil is in dilemma on whether to take up cricket or acting as his career. His cricket skills are to be seen to believe. We now hear that, Akhil Akkineni will represent Tollywood warriors in the upcoming CCL matches scheduled to be held next week in Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Vizag. Akhil played cricket match during the last year's Tollywood trophy T-20 match. He infact surprised the whole stadium with his superb performance and led his dad's team King Nags to victory in the match. An overwhelmed Nagarjuna hugged his son in much public view at LB Stadium in Hyderabad.
Since Tollywood biggies are well aware of his cricketing skills, they approached Nagarjuna for his consent. We hear Nag has agreed to let his son play in the upcoming CCL matches.Tollywood CCL team owner Manchu Vishnu confirmed the news,"Akhil is playing in the upcoming matches. We are aware of his training in cricket and we have seen his performance in the last year's Tollywood trophy.He is sure to be an asset to our team" Vishnu said.
Tollywood team lead by Venkatesh has Vishnu Manchu, Srikanth, Tarun, Nitin, Siddharth, Quayum, Bharath, Aadarsh Balakrishna ect all in the team apart from Akhil. This star team is rigorously practicing for the upcoming matches at Lahari Resorts in the outskirts of the city every evening. Cricket celeb Chamundi has been personally training the team in cricket.Meanwhile, a few people raised objections to Akhil Akkineni playing cricket matches for Tollywood team as he isn't an actor. T'wood CCL team rubbished them off saying Akhil acted as a child in 'Sisindri' the Telugu remake of 'Baby's Day out'.Sources say Akhil might enter films in a few years from now and he might go abroad for his higher education in a few months from now.
