One element of ‘Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appala Raju’ that is immensely attracting the viewers is dancing skills of hero Sunil. Although appalraju is director in the film, thanks to Varma’s digestion of some commercial mass cinema principles that he focused more on Choreographer and less on Director in the character of Sunil. appalraju dances more than hero and chorepgrapher working in his film. Audiences coming out of theatres are seen discussing about ease in body language of Sunil for performing tough movements.
‘Ringu Road Kaada…’ re-mix song is filled with variety of dance steps while title song showcased that Sunil is the Best.After successful 'Andala Ramudu' and 'Maryada Ramanna,' Sunil might have failed as a hero by selecting 'Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appala Raju' but his capability as perfect dancer is proved once again. Including with Gurram Award for Best Director,Varma and appalraju should get Best Choreographer Award too.
