'Orange' making waves in Melbroune - JustTollywood.com News

Ram Charan Tej-starrer Orange is in news for a different reason. In Australia, to shoot for a 14-week schedule, the film is being used by a Minister and others in Melbroune, to send out a message to Indians that their country was no racist and anti-India "as perceived" here. One Anupam Sharma, who is said to be the Australian-based line producer of Orange, said that the producer (Naga Babu) "wanted to come here and prove a point - that what is being told in India is totally against what is happening here.''

Education Minister Bronwyn Pike made it a point to visit the set of the film on Thursday, who said, "I am just delighted to be hearing a different message from the producers, the director and the stars. They see that they have a responsibility to turn that message around,'' emphasising that the impression that Melbroune was not a safe and welcoming city was not true.

The big news is that it is perhaps the first time that an effort has been made by Australia to spread a message to India, and this has been done with the help of a Telugu film, which they feel has "a potential audience of about 300 million people."
