Ilayaraja bags Paa's rights - JustTollywood.com News

Maestroy Ilayaraja was first inspired by Paa's script, when its director R Balki narrated him the script. He composed the music, and the album has been liked in the film, than otherwise. Now, the maestro has acquired the remake rights of the film and is planning to make it in Tamil with a big actor-hero.
The question is, who is he going to cast for the role of Amitabh Bacchan? As is well-known, the film is about a 13-year Progeria-affected child, who looks 20 years advanced in age. AB just immortalised the role, so much so he made Rajinikanth cry.
This brings us to the guess that the Superstar might act in the Tamil version. In fact, the rumours ran amok in December, on the occasion of the original's release, that Rajini will act in the Tamil-Telugu version.
Afresh, Kamal Hassan is said to be the new Auro. Of course, nothing has been confirmed yet. Meanwhile, you can expect someone asking you to send vote for who you will want Auro to be.
